I apologize if this is common knowledge and I’m misunderstanding the posts, or if this has changed only recently, but I’ve tested this in the mists today and clones don’t overwrite phantasms anymore.

So, scepter / focus + sword / pistol?

I agree with portal being perfectly fine, and working as intended, except for Khylo.
Traveling through the portal should drop the repair kit.
Mesmer is just too much better than any other profession as a treb user, and while that’s cool per se, the flipside is that if you’re the only mesmer, and you’re playing Khylo, you have to man the treb.

At least that’s my experience with it, could be I’m just really good at the treb.

No one mentioned how Mind Wrack and Cry of Frustration scale with power/crit and malice respectively, so you can’t use both to their full potential?

Other than that I have no gripe with shatters or phantasms, although I completely agree with the sentiment that mesmer in GW2 is the exact opposite of mesmer in GW1.
The kitten if you do, kitten if you don’t decisions lie with the mesmer now, instead of the mesmerized.

@EasymodeX: I think you trivialize shattering. It’s not as straightforward as you suggest, and I don’t think people who cannot shatter perfectly should be sneered at.
