This sucks.

No, they didn’t screw me though. Only 3 left, and they left me in charge. I don’t want to screw the other 16 because the 3 left.

I just can’t shake the feeling that I’m screwing people over though, if I just kick them.

I am messaging all of them as we speak. I made it impossible for them to withdraw anything from the bank though, to prevent people from stealing stuff and leaving. If anybody is interested in keeping the guild active, I figure I will just kick everyone else.

I wouldn’t feel right just kicking everyone else, though. I don’t want to be seen as stealing everything in the vault.

I joined a guild when it only had 3 people in it, making me the fourth. It got up to 20 people, but then the original 3 left for LOTRO. They made me leader, but nobody reps the guild anymore. I’m not sure how to proceed. I don’t feel like being leader, but I don’t want to disband the guild because it has some upgrades and a full vault. Nobody is repping it though, so I can’t ask them to take over. Any advice?

Imagine how I feel. I didn’t have the gold to spend on them. By the time I am able to buy them, they will cost a ludicrous amount of gold.

Completely skipped the part about utter disgrace for phase 1 and 2 which amounted to pretty much impossible to finish/please wait for patch that didnt fix it then wait for another.

Also, I agree about phase 1 of the event. It was awful. I wasn’t there for phase 2 and haven’t read anything about it, so I’ll refrain from commenting on that part. There really is no excuse for the bugfest that was phase 1, though. Pointing that out just escaped my mind in all the rage over phase 3 on the forum.

And people who were disconnected from server-side shouldn’t be entitled to rewards? Really? I had a kitten bad taste in my mouth, looting the chest after i heard how many was kicked during the last 10 minutes after a 3 hour event. I even sent an exotic from the chest to someone, as a feelgood. I sure didn’t want to be him.

I’m sorry. I wasn’t referring to those who were disconnected. You are definitely entitled to your rewards. I was talking about those, who like me, missed phase 3 of the event for personal reasons. I didn’t mean to imply that those who were active in the event and were kicked due to server issues should not get the rewards.

And I have not found anything to indicate that the minis will not continue being dropped by karka/hatchlings/reefer drakes, but I also have not heard anything that indicates the mobs actually dropped the minis to begin with in Southsun Shoals.

All of these thoughts are from someone who missed the second and third phase of the event due to the death of a close friend. It really puts things in perspective about how inconsequential Guild Wars 2 is.

First of all, those complaining about the precursor loot (those who completed the phase 3 meta-event) have no reason to do so. Those who received that loot were lucky. You were not. They did not receive anything “exclusive” to my knowledge that you did not receive yourselves.

Secondly, to those complaining about being prevented from receiving the exclusive Ancient Karka Shell and Ancient Karka Shell Box (those unable to attend phase 3 of the event for a variety of reasons), there are plenty of 20 slot bags which replace the Shell Box utility-wise. There is no reason to complain about missing out on that. Regarding the Ancient Karka Shell, I believe you have more of a reason to be upset. It was fine, so long as the vendor was there selling the Ancient Karka Shell for 1,000 shells, but I understand this has been removed. This seems a bit unfair to those who missed the event, as there is no replacement for the Ancient Karka Shell utility-wise.

Finally, this is where the QQing comes in. I want the minis! ;_; They are expensive and gone forever as loot, as far as I know. WAAAAH!

I can get to the point where I click on Buy 0 gems, and then it turns into the “Confirm” button. I click on that button, but nothing happens. It isn’t in my mail, and I even tried deleting some old mail to see if it would pop up.

Did I miss my chance to get them?

I’m sure there are a lot of responses that are insulting you and not seeing the humor in your question. I thought it was very amusing and wish you the best of luck in beating the JP.

Examine the statue behind her. That is a hint. Try talking to the ghost after examining the statue. (That itself isn’t good enough, you have to do something before talking to her again, but I’ll leave that to you!)

Let me clarify, I do not mean the potential to attain the achievements, as I understand when the event is over, everything in Tyria will disappear. What I want to know is will the Special Achievement section of Achievements when you hit “H” disappear?

The reason I ask is that I won’t care if they disappear, but if they don’t disappear, my OCD will constantly cause me to check it and make me feel like a failure. I know that this is stupid. I know I am butthurt and should just be better at this JP. For some reason, rationality doesn’t help with my anxiety. :P

It is strange how no staff have commented on the Clock Tower issue. <_<

They could give each account a token or something to indicate that that the account was active during the live Halloween event, so that the account could access the dungeon. That way people would stop whining, people could enjoy the event instead of feeling pressured into getting everything and not having fun, and… nope, that’s all I got.

I’m incredibly butthurt at the clock tower, but when I heard the song start playing, I had to laugh. Congrats!
