Howdy, yeah, I’ve read ppl cant see your footprints while invi now -it was a bug-, but I’d love to know if enemies can or can not see your footprints (legendary induced) WHILE YOU ARE NOT INVISIBLE.

Now it would be missing to know if ppl can see your footprints when you are not invisible. It can be very perjudicial to mesmer, as our friend stated.

Aw, I’m nowhere near the level of play where it matters yet, but wouldn’t people be able to track you more easily when you’re running circles around them and stuff?

Because even if you’re already out of their screens view, they know which side you’re on and all that cuz your footprints?

No, an opponent can’t see them when you’re stealthed.

Yeah, I mean in general though, when I’m not stealth, and running around with a legendary, are my tracks visible to opposing servers?

I read that the glory system is going away! (I’m kind of a slowpoke)
Will glory rewards still be around for a while or should I spend them all now?

Also, that means if anything, you won’t be able to earn glory anymore right? So should I use all my glory boosters up right now?

lol no, me and a few people chased a guy from SM and he got away into a nearby tower and messaged me to tell us how bad we were at the game

I feel like a large part of the appeal of WvW over more traditional PvP is the idea that it’s harder for people to talk smack and harass you due to it being relatively anonymous. It makes kills and being killed feel less personal. (Though I guess that could be seen as good or bad.)

In WvW, the option to add a server enemy to the party and talk to them seems pretty neat, since it lets you choose to accept or ignore, which should theoretically allow you to decide whether or not they can chat to you.

However, recently someone tried to add me to the party and I declined, but in the time that the request was up, they had my account name which popped up or something, and manually whispered me a bunch of flame and harassed me anyway. I did simply block them, but it would be a lot more pleasant to not have had to deal with the message in the first place.

Is there any way to make it so enemies can’t see any of your info until you accept?

I do think that you should be able to comm with enemy servers via party system since it is a community oriented game, but it would be neat to be able to have a little more control over who sends me smack and who doesn’t.

Just wondering, if I have a guild bank with things in it on one server, and then I transfer home servers to another server. Do I lose everything that was in the guild bank?

Or can I still access it if I guest to the server it’s on?

Not sure if this is in the right forum, but if I bring a skin into PVP and use it as PVP, is there any way to ever turn it back into PVE? Would an XMute splitter bring it back? or is there no way at the moment?

I am currently trying to craft a legendary. My real life friend has volunteered to lend me gold in order to complete it sooner. He said he can lend me a couple hundred gold and that I just have to pay him back by a given date.

I love the idea of that of course, however, before we do that, I just wanted to check if that is allowed since I wouldn’t want either of us to get in trouble, because I do understand that sending large amounts of value back and forth between people has been the source of a lot of bans and controversy in the past.

I just think it would be cool if there were 3 or 4 different voices we could choose from when we make our characters and maybe the option to pull pitch high or lower. It wouldn’t satisfy everyone’s audio needs, but it would be something.

That way I don’t have the same voice as literally every other character that’s the same gender and race as me.

My friend was showing me WoW on his computer, and if anything could have made me want to go to WoW instead, it would be how enourmous and immserive the world is. There are also the two sides (Horde and Alliance) and their respective home cities that the other side can’t safely access, creating a feel exclusive to the side you pick, making you feel like what race you pick actually matters.

WoW’s world also has so much depth and the cities are enormous. They really feel like cities instead of large towns. Likewise, the world map really feels like another world, as opposed to just feeling like a country.

I know GW2 has only been out a little more than a year so it’s still young, but maybe a suggestion for where it can heads towards in terms of depth and how much lore makes a difference in the game in the future?

I feel like the problem with making the game too casual is that it becomes really shallow with a lack of depth, resulting in a lower player retention rate than it could be.

I mostly do PVE and play different amounts depending on my workload.
