@Ianervan.3415 Getting someone to res you or using a wp does not bypass armor repairs.

They don’t even need someone to stay after log out. Just have anyone who logs out while down considered finished which will give out loot.

If someone logs out while running away then SOL. You miss out on a small chance for a badge or two but if your all out badge farming, there is much better ways to get them. Same for the other amazing items on the loot table of players in WvW. I would not mind as that person needs to log back in and join the BL to even begin running back to the objective they were at.

But yes, having downed someone and poof can get old but they still have to pay repairs and log back in. So the issue of losing the uber loots seems like a no brainer fix.

Also, if you do no hit the person to bring them into combat, they can still WP. I see that happen a lot and do it myself if I am out of place and see a zerg rolling in. WP to Hills/Gar and go back.

They don’t skip out on the repair bill if you down them. They will log on dead and if no one is there to res, they will have to pay the port. Loot issue is the annoying part.

I am not sure about logging out during combat. I don’t think you necessarily deserve loot if either since they saved you some time, lol.

I think some may have missed the point slightly. Yes, you can do it at pretty much any level just as good/better as an 80. The issue is why take the chance?

I have been seeing people ask for 80s more and more lately. I don’t, but I can understand why. I can form a group of all lvls/profs and clear it in record time while doing a “then and now” on Tonya Harding. This doesn’t always to go so well if more than 2 people are low lvl. (but still can) The other idea is to find lvl 80s who are doing their dailies also and knock them out.

The second plan works out much more than the first from what I notice. The combination of amount of skill points, higher lvl gear with 3 stats, a few different exotic weapon combos, and the shear number of times ran increased the odds of a quick and easy run. Not only that, there is not much need to explain any fights or tactics. The players know the fights and the skills to switch based on group comp/encounter. Toss in the ideal mindless run composition and you have the greatest odds to be pain free.

Again, this is by no means a sure bet, but I can understand why people would seek it. With some buggy and/or gimmicky mechanics the fun gets lost and the grind begins. Its annoying with most of the current mechanics, to fight more than you have to. So that is mostly where I see the “experienced and lvl 80” only.

@Zenith I agree completely. I would love to go back and do some of the other events but I would only be wasting time. I can get karma/xp/sp from the events and the loot goes toward either selling for gold or the uber Anet end game, legendary weapon mats.

They should not have made the majority of mats needed for the legendary weapons the 400 ones. This only forces you to do the Orr grind fest and leaves the other places with a low population.

So I wanted to check out all this competition on the other tiers to kick around transferring. I only see T2 being close and everyone else having one server blowing away the other 2… It may equal out as things settle, but to say it exists on the middle tiers currently would be false.
