Guild Wars would improve with 2v2's and 3v3's

Hello,
My name is Jeff and I am a huge fan of guild wars/guild wars 2.

I stopped playing the game because I am forced to play with 4 other people and capture points all day.

I have actually started playing another game which starts with the letter ‘W’ and ends with ‘craft’

This game offers Arena’s which I enjoy quite a bit and best thing is, I can play with friends only!

1 Friend online? No problem 2v2’s
2 Friends online? No problem 3v3’s
.. you get where I am going.

I would love to see more options in the PvP scene of Gw2
Offer people a chance to play with just friends whatever the number and let people create a 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 meta..

The mechanics are there..
It should be easily implemented even with just Courtyard as the first “beta” map to begin with.

The game is almost 4 years old.. and this should have been implemented from the beginning if you ask me.

Arenanet, fix the issue at hand,
2 turret engi’s is too much.

One turret engi is fine but 2 is just over kill they just force themselves on a point and there is not a whole lot you can do to counter this the turrets give boons and heal themselves…

I have always stood behind Anet when it comes to balancing but this has gone too far.

Thats the thing though Cactus, " enough people with a decent build and abit of knowlegde. "

Its a level 60 area with level 60’s expecting a behemoth like boss and get slaughtered and me just standing there understanding the mechanics but failing to understand how to fire the laser.

luckely I have a friend who can assist me and i’ll get it done and sure, others will too.

But this belongs in an instance not in a map where people expect a behemoth type of boss and get poisened to death.

Perhaps it will never change,
I would love to see some balanced world bosses where you can jump in enjoy the fight and have a victory and for a more challenging fight make a instance?

Sure the bosses can use a boost but like this in a level 60 area?

Its not just about me its about the 40%* of which some also posted a similiar post which you have read.

  • the 40% is a random number.. I have no clue what the playerbase is like.

Some youtube vids will help some wiki-ing!
It will have to wait till the weekend though. :/

Doesn’t change the fact that the dragon has a typo in its health.
I work in IT and I deal with people not being able to do tasks which are simple for me..
Just like in IT an MMO deals with all kinds of people why should only the hardcore gamers get all the loot?

I am going to level with you guys, I have no clue what TTS is and do not really have the time too.. wait my food is burning brb.

Basically the event is overkill and expects people to be all organized,
put stuff like that in instances where you can get a cordinated team and do it but dont boost a dragon from too easy to incredibly hard and let the casual gamers suck it up.

I dont know the statistics but lets just say 40% plays casually should they all never beat the dragon or have the priviliges to meet a cordinated team and let them do all the hard work?

I hope to see the event change if it doesn’t i’ll be part of the 40% and just suck it up.

Hello!

This event has to change.
Either the Q&A team has become too skilled and cannot test the game for casual players or the developers misstyped some 0’s in the health bar of the dragon.

This event is impossible to beat.
“We do this daily with our guild.” Good for you! want a cookie? – Not everybody has a populated guild, some people prefer the small guild with close friends.

frustration, I get teased with achievement chests and cannot get the achievement points for it because some dragon has 1,000,000,000,000/0 HP

I’d be happy if the event became an instance where I would just need a few solid mates or make the event casual friendly.

I do not play every server available,
But on my server most dungeons have almost no players who are willing to do them!

Simple solution,

Create a party system that asks you which dungeon you want to do and what path,
The use of this system and completing a dungeon using this system will reward you with gems/other rare items.

So in the party UI there will be a settings button,
You click on this button and it will open up a whole new window.

In this window you can decide what dungeon you want to do and what mode, and/or path.

A party leader can say what professions the group is looking for,
1 Warrior (Toughness)
1 Elementalist (Healing)
1 Ele.. you get the idea.

The reward,
I said Gems earlier but that is a bit too much I gues,
You could make it anything you could possibly make it tokens for the dungeon or any other item which is rewarding both then and in the future.

This system will greatly improve looking for a group for dungeons and should be useable through out Tyria so that you do not have to wait for a dungeon group to assemble at the dungeon gate.

Race: Asuran
Class: Warrior
Armor: Reinforced Scale

Whenever I walk when just loaded into a map the neck appears to be gone,
Its hard to see but basically the asuran animation are made to somewhat be funny and the head goes up and down,

Seems whenever I just loaded in it doesn’t go up and down it just stays down and this is annoying me!

Hope a solution can be found, this is just the first min of being a map so its not a big deal.
