Entitled to Legendaries?

I am NOT entitled to a legendary.
I will get one (or more) eventually, but it will take me longer than many and I dont care.
What would be the point of making such a thing easy to get? It would only devalue it in the process by making it less of an achievement (a REAL achievement and not one of those stupid picture ones).

Respawn speed ridiculous?

Today there were a few people (around five) who tried to do the Bloodwitch event in Kessex hills. This is impossible to do with such a low number due to the super fast respawn of Barracudas and so on.

This isnt the only event / situation / location where the respawn is screwing over soloers and small groups and there really needs to be a change from “super fast respawn” (for a high kill count) to more durable mobs with a higher reward as XP. Adjusting the hit points of NPCs instead of pushing their numbers to adjust for the numbers of players doing an event is the right way to go, because condition damage dealers and illusion mesmers are really disadvantaged by “hordes of NPCs”.

A respawn of 5-10 minutes (or longer) is an acceptable solution if there is a sufficient number of mobs to begin with and not just “a few” which then reappear in a short while. Having to “fight” your way through a few mobs which then arent respawning 1 minute later at least gives you a sense of achievement.

Bugreporting A Little Difficult In-game?

Personally I would like a faster way to report botters … which are running around in a train of 2-5 usually, but reporting them takes a lot of clicks.

Repetitive Speech

After the total silence and elevator music in GW1, this is a breath of fresh air hearing all the voices around you. But if you go in options, and you put Dialog Volume on minimum, you will not hear any NPC chat or dialog voices.

Having to disable part of the content is not a solution, because it also deletes the dialogue for the personal quest scenes for example and it is a bad thing to have no conversations around you. The solution for merchants would be to have A LOT MORE sentences and then give each one a random selection from which they can choose.

For player abilities (and possibly for NPCs as well) there should be a slider so everyone can choose how many of them are blocked out (a simple dice roll each time).

No … addons always bring in automatism and that is a terrible thing.

Please please please adjust the repetition intervals for these phrases to prevent another “arrow to the knee” syndrome! They are funny only the first ten times, but after that they really get annoying in this kind of frequency.

I shouldn’t have to adjust the Dialog volume all the way to the bottom to calm down the urge to strangle all these NPCs and their repetitive sentences.

Am I too old for gaming?

After the third “oh let me sacrifice myself in a totally scripted and unbelievable way for the team” friend/close officer I got terribly annoyed by the stupidity of it. These events arent even scripted well into the actual action and should not be done like that.

What annoys me A LOT is the fact that all the “undead” are totally undead-ish:
- they TALK (lots) … even though an undead doesnt breathe usually
- they are ALL on drugs and run around about 5 times faster than they should.
The worst part of the quest for this is the “Battle for Fort Trinity”.

The biggest mistake was the stupid idea to have everyone START as “the hero”, which makes the whole thing ridiculous. We ALL are the hero and thats illogical and doesnt allow for growth.
