I reported this as well, it seems like it’s tied to the new auto-cast feature on every skill as using any skill while holding down a skill to auto-cast will interrupt the auto-cast chain.
This is highly annoying, especially for things like grenade and mortar kit in action camera mode as it means that any skill used interrupts the auto-attack functionality of holding LMB in action camera mode.
I tested this on a few things and it happens with pretty much any skill, try it by holding down any skill to get it to keep auto casting and then use any other skill and watch the skill you’re still holding the button down for no longer be casting.
This is highly frustrating and hopefully not the intended behavior of the new holding down any skill to auto cast it functionality as it seems very counter intuitive to the whole idea behind that.
Got 2 tickets only found and opened like 12 crates. The sad thing is the tickets were the one thing in those crates I honestly didn’t care if I got, I wanted the minis more. :/
I’ll give both of those about 8/10 as they both are pretty fitting names, but lack characteristics of asuran naming conventions. :P
As for my asura, his name is Crayzz and he is a master of mechanical mayhem (or engineer for those who don’t like long descriptive names)
Actually, after further thinking about this, they’ll probably pull a similar thing like they did with the beta weekend event 3 where everyone was locked into a specific level with specific skillsets for the mission.
This would allow everyone to participate in the event missions without any problems whatsoever.
Another method would be for them to add holiday jumping puzzles as those can be easily tweaked to work for any level.
With how Guild Wars 1 was, I’d say that they’ll try to include everyone in the event somehow, especially with how easy it is for everyone to reach Lion’s Arch (which I presume is the main event area).
I highly doubt that they are going to be limiting this to level 80 characters (that would be ridiculous) but if anything I’d take a guess that you’d want to be about midlevel to access all the content without issue (this is a personal guess based off of how GW1 did some of their Halloween event quests).
Then you really shouldn’t feel bad, the only “unfair” advantages are not only pretty small, they also only apply to PvE and WvW and are completely attainable without actually spending any gems at all.
I have a ton of the buffs from the cash shop just from playing through the personal story and just playing the game, but they’re just kind of sitting there doing nothing at the moment (I’m terrible at using time sensitive things, the only reason I used my golem banker from the DD stuff is because I accidentally activated it :P)
Personally, I’m looking forward to them adding the rest of the activities in. Don’t get me wrong, keg brawl is fun, but I want the bar fights, shooting gallery, and polymock that we were promised.
