Would anybody mind pointing me to a MMO with that has stellar voice acting, let alone on the level of the Last of Us(which is not a MMO)? Skyrim, a large and open world single player RPG, had bits of good dialogue and voice acting but the bad bits tended to really stick out. I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee. I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee. I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee. I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
Now, I will agree that sometimes the dialogue, the writing itself not the voice acting, can sometimes feel uninteresting or lighter in tone. But, I feel that if someone takes a step back and looks at the overall story of this game as a whole, they would find to still be fairly grim while managing to keep itself in the Teen rating. Personally, I would like to see the living story and immediate content remind us that even though we managed to take down one dragon, we are still a long ways off from being safe.
As for the books, I haven’t read the latest one yet. But two of the three authors (two people worked on Ghosts of Ascalon), Jeff Grubb and J. Robert King, wrote some of my favorite books from the Magic: the Gathering series as well as Scott McGough (would be neat if he had a Guild Wars book in the works himself). I’d put them, as well as the MtG books, in the young adult category but are still worth the read no matter the age.
I use to have a more zerker-ish build. This new build is a bit lacking in the sense you’re not running around and doing 20k with Hundred Blades, but my survivability had shot through the roof. During the Crown Pavilion and Clockwork Chaos events I was having a blast as I was able to throw myself into the middle of the fray and not have to worry too much about going down. The only thing that really hurt were the Aetherblade Strikers with their lightning attacks, but those tend to down players by the batch.
My current build, which I will probably end up tweaking. The hammer will get swapped to a greatsword or rifle depending on the situation. Same goes with the banner, usually just between tactics and strength.
Why should people getting rewarded more for just being in a group when there are individuals who can work just as hard? Also something like this sounds like it would only benefit larger guilds and or inflate some egos.
I’d like the speedo Faren was wearing, please.
I’ve been using it since the update. There’s a ten second cool down on my axe, but I can switch weapons every five and I am pooping out adrenaline so I might as well use it. The only time I hang on to the adrenaline is when I feel like I’m going to be having to deal with conditions.
I was running around with GS / axe + shield before the update. I still use it since I’m not really sure yet if I want to change weapons and how to go about doing it.
This is something I’ve been playing around with and am still trying to tweak myself. I haven’t done that much WvW with it yet. The GS’s burst actually feels useful to me now. You can pop it and just regain the adrenaline so fast it feels like it doesn’t even matter and you get the 15 seconds of fury.
quick edit: I change the adept trait in defense ( I, II, or V) depending on what I’m doing or.

I’d like to be able to switch between different trait builds on the go. Even if you get a little prompt saying “It will cost x amount to switch your traits. Are you sure?” I assume the current system has the cost to provide a small gold sink.
I enjoy my tanky warrior, but every once in awhile I just want to see some big numbers.
