we were 4 ppl getting -3 and loss for a won match^^ because 1 of us had disconnect

Sorry, I didn’t know that, thanks for telling me. Well, it seems silly, but I can see where it comes from. I mean, I don’t care about the LB at all, so if I had a friend of mine dying to have a mini llama, I guess it would be easy to disconnect every time we’re losing, to avoid my friend a loss in points on the LB. I honestly don’t know where I stand on this. On the one hand, fair-play people like you and I don’t need this fail-safe, but people in this game seem to abuse of everything they can (just look at the number of turret engis you run into), so maybe it’s needed.

yeah but I don’t believe they aren’t able to make a difference between 1min disconnect+winning VS abusing

1. We need time bans
-> One day I was matched several times with and against a player who always left the match when it looked like a incoming loss. Yes he gets punished by loosing points, but he ruined the pvp matches for probably 100+ people this day when I already met him 4-6 times that day.

2. Arenanet has to learn what Teamspeak is
-> I’m often matched against premades when I’m in SoloQ, that sucks but anet wont change that I think.
What they could change is that I’m still loosing 1-2points when I get totally kitten d by a 4-5ppl premade. There should be a MMR multiplicator when they play as premade, Teamspeak is a mighty weapon.

3. Better programming

But THERE ARE better ways of programming. The system sucks when you win a 4vs5 in the 4ppl team but you still get -3 points because a friend you grouped with has a disconnect.

1. Yeah we were a party of 4

2. Only 1 disconnected for 1min-2min

3. We still won

4. All of us 4 get -3 Points

5. For me 2-3 days of pvp to catch up that (-3 instead of +1) difference of 4 points

@Evan Lesh: I don’t think any GM will give me back my points?

For me a team which is starting the first 1-2min 4vs5 and still wins should get extra points and not -3^^

actually we won because the disconnected person and I were killing the lord

even punishing one person with a DISCONNECT is stupid
punishing everyone is … like I said… the most stupid thing in the world lol

where do they hire the ppl coming to ideas like that?

yeah I was in a party with the disconnecting person, but he was only away for 1min~
He came back, we turned the match and won.
We don´t know if he also got 3minuspoints because he played more than 1 match in that Update-Hour
But for me I have the 10000000% proof I got a Loss and 3 Minuspoints for a Win we fought very hard for in a semi 4 vs 5….

So…

I was playing Ranked. Actually 1 member of our team disconnected for 1-2min.
BUT WE WON the game.
This was the only game I did between the ladder update every hour.
When I looked it up I had 1 more LOSS and !!!!!!3!!!!!! minuspoints……….

How is this possible?
Is this a known issue?
I didn´t left the match, i didn´t disconnected………..
