Guild Wars 2

Dusk above 400g, it’s the only thing I need to complete my own legendary, twilight.
After thinking abit about it, I spend oer 600-700hour and I still don’t have my legendary.
I grinded every day money, for my legendary, I had a goal.
I’m tired of grinding and I gladly go to another game, where I atleast can have fun. I’m even doubting when they will introduce the new patch, to gain the precursor on a ‘fun’ way, I’ll be doing it.

It’s funny how Arenanet promoted their game as a ‘not grinding’ MMO, infact I never grinded so much in an MMO. This game is just not rewarding enough. It’s frustrating that nice items require always a full stack and that those materials have an extreme low droprate. Aswell most mobs that don’t drop anything when beining killed.

Soon steamdeals, where you can buy great games like Deus Ex, Fear, Rage and many more for a few euro’s . I hope they get the message, because this game is even less rewarding then Diablo 3 (atleast they improved their game bit by bit and keep their fans updated)

I’ll hope they do it soon, else I take a long break.
Atm I got all the materials, but I refuge to grind the precursor (dusk in my case) or buy it at the TP. I already had enough of the increadible long grind that took me month’s to complete.

If the end-game is only about a long grind, I think I had it with this game. I’m also disapointed by no communication and no information that we get, I know some things take times, but some more information would really do alot.

I just don’t understand why they imply new content, when there are still so many things in the game that are so buggy and doesn’t make any sense. Cfr. the karka event and reward.

I’ve always found this precursor business funny. You would imagine from a lore perspective, that the precursor would be one of the first ingredients we’d get, so we can at least use.

I’m glad they’re putting in a scavenger hunt because awesome weapons should be obtain by awesome means. (Not to say getting it as a random gift from a Djinn isn’t awesome, it’s just getting it is the problem).

because making it a sure way of getting a legendary will truly reflects “legendary” status. To me it’s more like “welfare” epic for everyone. What better time to do it during Xmas, eh?

My eyes would glow as Twilight itself, if this happens

I really hope they will still put it in the game this year.
At this moment I got all the materials for the Twilight, and I’m waiting on a world drop or have luck with the MF. If not I’m taking a break for my long grind I did for all the materials. I guess that is the best choice? Because I rather let me push in the lava by a Grawl then grind another 340g to make an exploiter rich…

I doubt someone can confirm it will be released this year or not?

Same here setted a lodestone and 91 karka shells on ah.
They disapeared out of my list? Where are they gone?!
Serious was in total around 4-5g worth I want this back!

As the topic title says I want to talk about gaining the precusor.
As all know by now, gaining the precursor is something really hard to achieve.
I’m currently at my last phase of achieving the legendary, the only part that I am missing is the Precursor. I currently played over 640 hours this game, done plenty of dragon events, dungeons and alot of grinding to gain my materials for the legendary, aswell to hope the precusor (dusk in my case) would drop.

I find it sad, but also incomprehensible that after so many hours the precursor is still not at my grip. This has nothing to do with skills or playing x-amount of time to gain it. It all has to do with luck or gold. I already spended over 100 gold rares to gain it at the mystic forge as example.

Luckly Arenanet heared our calling and frustrations and they announced a new way to gain the precursor for certain. They call it atm ‘treasure hunting’. I really appreciate they listen to us, but I’m also wondering will this patch still be for this year? I really doubt many people will have the pathience to wait long for the precursor if they already have all the materials.

That’s why I’m wondering if someone knows something more about when they will release this. I and many other would really appreciate it, if we could have some more information about this topic. Aswell about the other legendaries arenet will introduce in the near future. I really would be disapointed after spending so much time, this long grind was for nothing.

to summarize; the inserted gametime isn’t rewarding enough!
If you would ask me, what is an MMO, I would answer: it’s a game where you progress, the progress and the reward, loot make this gametype addictive. This is what we miss at GW2 atm

Recently with the new patch I noticed how incredible hard it is to make money these days! With playing 4 to even 12 hours a day it has come to my attention you can’t make alot of money. Mainly the nerfing of some good events like Plinx, shelter and a few other events made a big drop of moneygain for me and other players.

At this point I ask myself, will I keep playing this game, because this is totally NOT a rewarding system. I find it also annoying many mobs simply doesn’t drop any stuff if you kill them and the anti-grind system! How the hell can you even consider making a legendary at this point. I know it should be hard, but before the patch I could grind around 120-150g in one week, wich is saddly done now.

Not only hardcore gamers are left in the cold but mainly the big group of casual people, who will never achieve this. This reminds me at Diablo 3, 100 hours of grinding and NO REWARD! What’s the point of playing, and grinding hours a day if you don’t have any satisfaction and no reward?

Also the dragon events like the shatterer and Jormag cost me more to use the waypoint then I gain loot from them, minions and chest! Why would I even consider doing them again in the future?

If this evolution keeps going or Arenanet doesn’t do anything about it, I fear they will lose a big group of players, including me. I rather go back to another game and spend alot of time there, and SEE actually I gain rewards for my time, not like GW2 or like in Diablo 3. Many friends of me dropped already out, mainly due this problems I’m saying ( and I totally agree with them).

Atm the frustration is seizing power over fun in this game.
Please do something about it, many people love this game, but grinding an hour with 178 MF without any rares and only circa. 1 gold gain, I find not rewarding. Make this game fun again like it ussed to be!

GW2 is like any other game, infact it’s even worse.
Here you have to grind insane to gain a chance to aquire the materials and pre-legendary in the game. With my calculations it will take another month to gain all the materials for the legendary. In this game you only need $$$ to buy yourself your pre-legendary.

It’s a shame, I hoped GW2 would bring more innovation and would make an end to this grind! You only need real money, this has nothing to do with skills anymore!

To give you an example I bought around 50 keys to open the black lion chest, had not one weapon skin. Don’t fall for this marketing tactics..
You could easily spend more then any other MMO’s where you have to pay monthly..
Bag, really dissapointed, this game is just dominated by gold farmers!

Perhaps I should return to Diablo 3, wich isn’t that better though…
