Hello everyone!

Today i would like to present an youtube channel of the guild Flare[FIRE].
WvW/PvP focused guild which returned to GW2 recently and is planning lots of fun content for its members,fans and viewers.
We would like to entertain and perhaps even educate you within our GW2 knowledge and possibilities!

I never mentioned that i want power boost.I just thought there will be competetive enviroment and there is none,also there is no sense of progress.. you are not getting anywhere.

I main Necro i can hardly solo stuff ^^ but i tried got into phase 2 couldnt get to phase 3.
I would say all of them are dull,phase 1 is nothing when your group dodges grubs,phase 2 consists of nothing else then hit and run as ranged and dodging smashes as meele/blocking underneath.Phase 3 is somewhat ok.
What makes it dull is ability to drop combat which is kind of stupid i would say and goes for every encounter ingame.No real sense of danger when boss just aggroes to other person if you run too far to just drop combat to heal to full health.

I take that soloing is hard and i have respect for everyone that does it.It is just the thing that i want to play with group of friends without having to faceroll everything ^^

Can someone explain to me what is a point of playing sPvP?
Few months in:
1.No ratings
2.No leaderboards
3.No tittles-only grindy ones
4.No spectator mode
5.No new game modes
+:
1:New map
Getting no real competition,no real reward-yay cosmetics,dont really care about them its just distracting sometimes.No point in going for tittles as they are grind heavy none of them being skill based.

Now before anyone brings the hate.I actually loved GW1 PvP with GvGs and 4v4 team deathmatches.I loved Alience battles.I actually even enjoyed arena type of pvp from other games and dueling,because it felt competetive and i had sense of progress.

So back to the original question,is the answer just because you like PvP?

I juts wanted to ask if we are getting any real dungeon in the future.The waypoint change is good but it really doesnt make dungeons harder for people which never zerged anything,it didnt change the shallowness of fights.
I take Lupi/Alpha/Simin,maybe Kholer if not LOSing him as non-afk bosses.Rest of the encounters requires very little attention-i dont take kitting and dodging slow projectiles as something that requires attention.
While Lupi atleast got some phases which are dull anyway but you have to atleast do something,Alpha has different stuff in each path which is easy to learn anyway but atleast does something,Simin got sparks which are somewhat hard because of their behavior sometimes/dps check,other bosses are just..urm..there for wasting time i guess?
When Devs said that they are making completly new game which players have to learn i would have never guessed that they will tune stuff down just because of waypoint change-talking Alpha health change but yea whatever it didnt change all that much.
And uh by the way,who else thinks that dungeon difficulty curve is kind of..bad?

Im not hardcore or whatever you call everyone that knows how to dodge and knows his class atleast a little bit to make working build.I just learned how to play a game…

Yes because because boss without crowd control immunity system would be so good..oh wait…
Remaking it? Why? Its working fine,you can still use it slightly to your advantage…
There are bigger problems as far as bosses go,making them CC able would just burry them to the ground.
Anyway i wonder what should be reasoning about trying to control creature far more powerfull than a player,answer should be pretty interesting indeed when CC´s are used mainly to interrupt not control.If thats the case-the interrupting-bosses have long and clear casting animations.

To be completly honest with you this game lacks competition thats true.I thik i might consider myself hardcore enough to say that there is simply no real PvE at the moment.All dungeons are pugable,some of them were soloed some are farmed in few minutes.Even truly casual players can do Arah if they are willing to go in and watch some youtube videos of bosses-yes you might wipe once but holy moly who cares?The fact that you wipe doesnt mean its hard….everyone can do them with someone experienced leading party.You dont even need exotics it just takes more time…
My point is,PvE here-meaning dungeons/events/farming.Is not challange at all.If you think that farming something for xxx hours is a challange-Legendary,you are wrong…

PvP-no rating,no ladder,no whatsoever-says it all.

Now before you strike with your mighty “you get it wrong-hardcore get out”
I get it.This game isnt supposed to be hard.Its nice,relaxing,good looking,friendly community all around….there is nothing wrong with this….but…
Game isnt supposed to be this easy.You can argue that everyone has the right to see the content-ye ofcourse!Everyone should be equal in terms of gear-no more treadmills-ye ofcourse!But not everyone is supposed to have dungeon armor with zero effort put in-no im not counting joining CoF group as an effort.Same goes for CoE,Arah whatever you want….at the end of the day it is like that.Ok all good everybody is still happy.

Getting to my point of solution…
Hardcore players whine that its easy-need leaderboards/world firsts/treadmill..well i dont think so,we need rating for sPvP+spectator/arenas but that has nothing to do with hardcore vs casual.
Solution in my opinion lies within new achiev. system.New unique tittles for both casual and hardcore players.Dont need new gear,dont need sparkling sword of toothfairy from hell.Simple tittle under the name would do-now im not talking grinding titles such as “Slayer” or WvW titles.They have very little to do with skill.
Titles such as for example-its example ok dont get mad-“Sadistic”-Kill Lupi in white gear or without any gear at all,“Bane of rabbits”-kill xxx rabbits in one hit and perform wild asura dancing party on their corpses-or whatever works for you.

Hardcore people would get some recognition,casual people would get their own titles for whatever they want.Dont need any new content to be added nor new gear type.Just another little cosmetic thing.
Called for progression/competition-here you got it some trully hard things may come out of this.Called for advantage over enemies so you can solo 1vxxx in WvW?Too bad you need to get better….

Player wants certain title he works for it without exception,all the titles in game are grind heavy right now not skill based….

Nice ideas-I like the doll idea,bad balance,cool names,insane class…dont want to see something like this in GW ever-10s quickness without any con to it,instant ress,etc…. Sums it up nicely.

No they wont run if you make it impossible to run that is the point and yes it takes work and creativity thats why it is called design and as a customer i expect them to put work into product that i bought if they dont do it than it was my mistake trusting in this game and i wont bother with the company anymore….
There needs to be work done,dungeons simply need rework because they are failing in more ways than just skipping thats the fact.
By the way i have to agree with no more CoF like puzzles…easiest thing ever just shallow filler of shallow dungeon.

This might sound harsh and it truly is but so is the state of the game so….

I did:Place more puzzles inside-5 mans not the running ones which can be soloed,change pathing and density in the places that actualy matter,change trash to more original types with less hp and more mechanics.
Skipping is mostly done by exploiting the fact of how unmobile trash is or how bad pathing and density is.Change that and no one will ever run again because it wont be possible.Also put CD on Ash Kits….

All i get from your posts Petrica is wanting better loot from trash that dont deserve better loot.I might be the only one here thinking this but i think that trash is fine….it takes little to no time to clear non-champion packs so the drop is justified for the effort put in killing them=you have to bash them down as they dont do anything/you get reward according to difficulty.Its not worth it? Ye its not thats true but giving trash better loot just breaks the value of that given loot.
Skipping is done because it can be done thats the problem here which is adressed in the question.Giving better loot wont stop skipping thats the point you missed-it gives motivation yea but so does threat of banning,giving cookies etc,this is thread about fixing skipping….
This is just turning into another QQ better loot thread.

Getting loot at the end of the dungeon? Ye sure go slaughter your way to some rares if you want, it is just not the fun way for some of us.Beating up mobs that just autoattack and use same stuff as in world PvE.

u can still skip so what is the problem. i was addressing the problem of people possibly farming first mobs/boss in dungeon and the resetting if the loot got increased.

it was done with the tokens already for the same reason and works fine.

I truly believe it sounds good in your head but have you ever considered possibility that some groups might not finish the run and get nothing?

you are trying not to understand. please read: in case they increase the loot on trash mobs.

to look at it positively it would be a motivation to actually go there to the end. make a tactic to kill final boss. and so on…

That wasnt meant as an insult,you simply make solution that sounds nice but has no background in actual game.You may get plenty if stuff ranging from greens to exotics and mats on top of that.It is something,giving someone nothing for trying is more like punishment saying “Get better or go home”.
I was pointing out your thing with chest full of trash drops you accumulated during the run.If such thing comes to exist-dungeons will be elitist place and the groups trying to learn who tend to fail from time to time will get nothing or really painfull experience of trying to get something which still might not be worth the effort they put in.
Yep i dont understand you at all it is not like im no trying.It is just a fact that badly designed trash and encounters with this trash cannot be replaced by stacking loot and making people grind this crap trash to get that buffed loot.

Trash is recycled world PvE trash with stacked HP and pathing that makes skipping possible.Even if the pathing was difference we have no trinity meaning that everyone has everything so everyone can run=skip.
It is not really about low rewards or anything atleast for me i just do dungeons for the fun and challange.I get neither from trash.
Doing mostly Arah runs which can take little more time than other dungeon i honestly have no idea why should i clear trash when i can just run past them most of the time.

As for shorter dungeons like AC etc…yep you are right path of the least resistance.Not our fault that it is possible to run.
Solution: Give more puzzles to each dungeon-that way you have to clear to complete puzzle,not saying that you need to add more running puzzles tho.Give new trash-quality of stacks not quantity.
