I think it is highly unlikely that an account gets suspended over a problem with payment of gems. Yes it happens that payment is refused cause the transaction doesn’t seem valid (either right or wrong), but that is imo no reason for a suspension (unless it is payment for the game itself, but thats not the case here).

If your friend has an issue with getting into the game then please advice him to file a support ticket. (top of this page – ask a question). If he is suspended it is very very likely for a different reason. support will be able to tell him why.

If you read my post, you would have seen that I already said that a ticket has been submitted (Incident 130906-001280). It doesn’t give him any time period or other reason, plus the emails in his email account that state that his account has been suspended due to a failed transaction say otherwise.

I’m posting this on behalf of a friend, Forgotten Deus.1423 (Yes we have similar names, that’s irrelevant.) His account was suspended for attempting to buy 800 gems with his paypal account, and for some reason the payment was blocked. He has submitted a ticket, however something is fishy here, due to the circumstances. Just hours before he had attempted to buy that 800 gems, he had bought another 800 (For the Infinite Retry Coin first time around, an armor skin second time around.) with the same paypal account, and it went through. He has bought gems many times before, however for this one time it didn’t go through. We’re not sure if this is Paypal’s Issue, ANet’s, or whoever’s problem this is, however we’d like to get him back to the game ASAP. If we could get somebody to look into this more, that’d be great.

Nevermind, we’ve found out what the problem is, thanks for the answer though.

A friend of mine’s account got suspended, (Says suspended, not terminated. He understands why, etc.) however he was never given a time frame of how long his suspension is, he’s filed a ticket, but no info has been given. It’s his first offense. Any idea how long his suspension will last?
