Guild Wars 2

Was in the Demo of PoF and got kicked with an error. Can get to character screen but can’t get a character into a map, it keeps giving me a network error.

Same problem with 2 characters so far ..was in tangled then went to verdant an go disc on this names char. My mesmer was just in LA trying to map out, she moved a few steps and got disc. Have not tried with other chars except necro, she seemed fine but scared to try an map or move lol

My client was crashing alot since HoT came out also, showing the blue green blobs alot too. I would crash at least twice while trying to do dragon stand with friends. Since the raid update Tuesday I have been crashing every 5-10 minutes and sometimes even at character login screen. Thursday evenings new build seems to have fixed the crashing so far, I haven’t been brave or in game enough to try dragon stand or any instance yet. But so far so good..Thank you Anet for fixing the memory problem and hopefully holy disco ball batman will stay at bay

I agree. I have 3 accounts and won’t be paying $150 to get 3 more core games that I already have paid for just to be able to buy the expansion.

There should be a separate pricing and packaging for existing players like $29.99 for standard expansion only, $54.99 for Deluxe expansion only, and $79.99 for Ultimate expansion only ..the core game is roughly around $20 these days…so $20 off each pkg for existing players with core game sounds fair.

I would actually think about the deluxe edition for that price. So I will not be pre-ordering because I feel it would be paying for the game I have already just so I could get expansion.

I have a character that is stuck in that loop also. A friend and I were close to getting an event done and the constant crashes started at midnight pst same error code as dai posted.

Received the email on my ticket yesterday also saying it was resolved. Checked in game mail on this account and my other account(in case it got sent wrong) but there was no mail with my dde items. Also, replied on my ticket through support with same info.

I’m not sure if there is a time frame on closed tickets, but mine was opened early morning the 25th and was closed I think around the 29th or so of aug. I put in an update on that original ticket hoping it would post and it did. Saves time with support not being bogged by bundles of duplicates. But, I’m still waiting for a response again.

Grizzly UK you might want to update your ticket, even if it shows closed. I got a response that they are referring mine to another dept I think it was. So I’m crossing my fingers.

Same problems with the digital deluxe items not showing after remaking the first character.

“I did not see the info on the HOM portal stone until after I deleted my character and remade her to get the portal stone, she was only lvl 3 so wasn’t a huge loss except the items from the first email didn’t show up for her or the second character on the account. I deleted Cute But Psychotic to hopefully get the portal stone to show up in inventory as it was supposed to but have not received the rylock mini, chalice of glory or the tome of influence back in the mail. Both characters received 2 mails in game with nothing in the first mail.

Any way to get those 3 items back if they were a one time deal as they were unused when I deleted Cute the first time "

We are aware of the issue with Collector’s Edition/Digital Deluxe Edition items going missing after deleting a character that had them. It has happened to many of us, too. -_- A fix is coming as soon as possible, so please stay tuned to the Guild Wars 2 forums () once the forums re-open for updates!
