I am in my mid 20’s and a casual gamer. I focus on work and life for the most part, but in the evenings or weekends enjoy running around in GW2. My main is an exotic geared mesmer, but if I find a guild whos really into pve I would be into gearing other toons as well.

Just looking for a laid back active guild that runs dungeons, events and WvW for fun. I’m Willing to transfer servers for this, but am currently on Gates of Madness.

had some fun 3 way battles this past week looking forward to what this week will bring. My guild doesnt WvW as much (more of a tPvP guild) so I will be looking for groups to join up with or other guilds to work along side with on Gates of Madness. As for the other servers, as much as I like grouping up, I’m going to try and kill you, sorry.

I both agree with the choice, but might disagree with how its implemented.

As mentioned above with portal duty, should mesmers be stuck on portal duty? No, they should be able to play a match how ever they want. By giving other classes a similar ability, it opens up the options a mesmer can have as a role instead of being forced to do something or use another class.

That being said…..Anet…you need to GIVE MESMERS ANOTHER ROLE lol. I love the play style of the mesmer and will continue to play it. In fact, I usually don’t carry portal (unless WvW) the majority of the time and have no problem with other classes having similar abilities. The issue revolves around stripping down what mesmers can do, dividing it among the people and just stopping after that.

Like many before me have said, if you are going to take away a unique part of the class you designed to be unique……….give us a little something in return.

p.s. my mesmer could use heavy armor lol

I figured this was the correct place to post this since the issue only began once I started playing on the Mac Beta Client.

I had a 27 inch iMac dual booted with the latest OS X and windows 7. I have been playing GW2 since release on my windows side, but when that crashed I downloaded the Mac Beta and thats when this issue started.

Issue: with 2 weapons equipped, I can only use 1.

Explination: On my mesmer I run GS/Staff for PvE. On a few occasions I noticed I could no longer switch back to my staff during a fight. The CD was down, but the button for switching remained grey. In order to use the staff again I had to drop combat > place staff in bag > equip staff > start combat again.

I have not found out if it is caused by a certain action or just sort of happens. Also, its only happened a few times so far, but thought it would be worth mentioning in case others are experiencing this, since I did not seem to see a post about it in the forums yet.
