An Arrow Cart placed directly next to or beside the gate can aim over the gap of the gate and into the courtyard of any tower or keep. No third party tools or tricks required, just clever placement of siege.

I bought some of these to see what they did after reading this thread, and because some random scrub killed me with…. something crazy, and I wanted to know if it was this item. Just sayin, if you use the throw ability on the gears, it will bounce between enemies and gives a 3~ second stun as well as decent damage. I hit people for 4k crits on upleveled glass cannons, 2.5k when they had good defense. You can spam these too, and stun lock a few people from 100% to dead and they cant do anything about it.

This item needs to be removed ASAP from WvW, it is far worse than golems in a box, which was already removed.

I had this happen to me earlier today in the EBG JP by some Jade Quarry thief. Unless you have stability to not get stun locked you WILL get destroyed by it 1v1 and even then you have to survive the ridiculous 4k crits it does every second.

Been playing for almost 12 hours with a couple breaks. Bed time for me. Good fighting tonight. Was an uphill battle for sure.

To be quite honest I was bringing HIRE to follow KnT/ Urge around. can’t have you guys capping all our stuff behind our backs :P

We got BG Borderlands painted red and….WE FINALLY TOOK CRAGTOP!!

Haha, that fight was remarkably similar to our fight with SoR last night. Back and forth with trebuchet attacks and portal bombs, with BG/SoR holding the tower under tight lockdown with siege blasting in our faces until eventually (and by eventually I mean a very long time) we came out on top!

Fantastic to see IoJ coming out in full force and making a comeback tonight. Had a lot of fun roaming the IoJ borderlands and even barely stopping a small group of BG from ninja capping Bay inside the lord’s room.

On another note. Had a really fun time in SoR Borderlands..HIRE managed to paint it red in the end. Epic defense from SoR at Cliffside though

Haha, that was because you guys had trebbed and destroyed the wall underneath our trebuchet, causing it to mysteriously levitate above the ground. Some of us were having a bit of a laugh because of it.

Good fights in EB after we took Stonemist. Although more than half of our WvWers had left for the night (not to mention us chilling for quite a while in the JP) we lasted a couple of hours of cotinuous trebbings and assaults from SoR until it was eventually taken from us. You guys are persistent :P

IoJ won’t beat SoR again. IoJ just needs to get out. This week is strictly SoR vs Blackgate, like it has been for the previous 3 weeks as well.

IoJ, no disrespect, but you guys aren’t a T2 server, and I wish ArenaNet would fix their ranking system so a team that continues to win competes against other teams that continue to win LIKE THEY SAID WHEN THEY WERE DEVELOPING THE GAME.

It’s time to bring Tarnished Coast in here. They may not be as good as SoR, but like SoR they don’t give up. IoJ is like the lonely bully that randomly throws things at people to make them wonder who keeps throwing things at them.

The biggest problem that we (IoJ) have is simply the lack of coverage. Most of our major guilds are either PvE, moved to other games, inactive or have transferred to other servers. We have a good Oceanic presence (which was how managed to barely overtake SoR in the week of 27th of November), but our NA/EU presence is severely lacking which is also our biggest downfall. We also have no queues 24/7 unless Never Die is trying to take Stonemist.

I agree that we aren’t a tier 2 server. Heck, I’m sure most of us want to drop down to tier 3 just to have different competition, and more so a fairer fight. Going up against the same 2 opponents for the 4th week in a row is getting very stale.

Yes you can. My Guardian is wearing Vigil, Priory and Whispers armor from doing that method.
