Bring back the Male/Female Tuxedo outfit from Guild Wars 1. Nod Preferably -without- changing the overall look across races, just make it a nice looking regular tuxedo across the board, and non-gender specific. (No major changes between it other than shape and conformity of figure).

What they need to fix is where you respawn if you die. If you even have slight latency issues, getting back into the fight is borderline impossible at times. Mostly due in part because it spawns you in a separate room, that you then need to jump into a portal and then go through a loading screen before you’re in the room. I cannot count the number of times I’ve been knocked down and insta-killed by Caudecus because I have no time to react whatsoever and am still staring at a loading screen.

My suggestion is to make it so that you enter the adjacent spinning room instead when you load in, then just run into the room and have the door close behind you so you’re able to join the fight proper again and aware.

This would probably take a bit to code into Guild Wars 2, other than mimicking the mail system but for yourself and the ability for others to read, BUT, I was wondering if we could, in the future, have a “character biography” section? The Personal Story section of Guild Wars 2 where you choose what’s going on and where you character hails from is great and all, but I personally think it would be pretty great to have a little box that you can type information about your character and their back story with. Much more, have other players have access to, or the ability to read these biographies when they encounter you. I know the Roleplay community would appreciate this a lot, but I think that more players might get behind the idea too.

Here’s to hoping this is considered… Again, I understand it might be a bit of pain to code in, and thus why I’m in no real rush to have this feature put in, but it would be extremely nice to have the ability to type up a backstory for my character. And if that’s not the kind of speed for PvE or PvP players, they can type other things in this box. Maybe give them the ability to link their entire armor/weapon set in this box so other players during dungeons or raids can view what they have and give them feedback. After all, teamwork is communication-oriented.

Assuming that we will (eventually) reach the Crystal Desert, I would like to stress the importance of having a Dune Lizard pet again, as I have a 1 to 1 recreation of my Guild Wars 1 main, of whom has the Dune Lizard as a pet, but does not in Guild Wars 2 (simply because of the lack of that region currently.)

BUT, I’m going to expand this suggestion just a little beyond Dune Lizards – I assume there are more future pets planned for future expansions and what have you, but, will we be seeing the return of pets from Guild Wars 1 in particular in Guild Wars 2 beyond what we have seen already? (I only ask because Heart of Thorns introduced -brand new- pets, and did not add any from the original. Which is fine, I like new stuff, I was just curious.)

I tried this, and WOW. That -DEFINITELY- worked. My download speed skyrocketted upward, and it showed absolutely no sign of slowing down.

UPDATE: So it actually managed to get to the login screen easily now, but in order for me to log in, I had to turn off the VPN connection. Weird.

So … what do we do in the mean time? I got this too. It says Downloading: (however many Kb/s it manages before the download speed drops to zero.) then (the download speed). And it usually starts at 50 Kb/s which is outrageously slow, and then it just tanks to zero. If the patcher -saves- that data, I suppose I can just keep restarting the launcher repeatedly until it finishes, but it will drop to zero in about 20 – 30 seconds, and that gets real annoying real fast.

EDIT: Oh, right. Forgot to mention my Internet provider is also Verizon.
