Niiiiiiice. I like the little stop-motion animation bit you guys did during the drop, too. What’s the name of the song you guys used for your BGM? It was freaking dope!

Ugh. Am I the only person who doesn’t like the fact that even though there are different sliders available to make sure that your character is unique looking, why are we limited when it comes to hairstyles?? I am having a deuce of a time choosing something for my female human ranger. The only one that called out to me was the faux hawk—I wanted to give her a Janelle Monae-like appeal, but it doesn’t look as beautiful in-game as it does during character creation, and it doesn’t appear in the portrait box at the character selection screen, which drives me nuts (a bug since launch that undoubtedly has already been reported and should have been fixed long ago!). Unless the devs announce more hairstyles are on the way, I gave up and changed her gender into a male. Of course this screwed my alts’ armor-gender distribution ratio and deleted my male charr engineer to make a female one… Except now I’m thinking of building a male charr mesmer from the ground up, which should be hysterical to see a fabulous charr dashing into the fray, greatsword in hand. Guess this means my future Tengu’s gonna be an engi girl…

Well, they said I could become anything I wanted, so…
This is the third time I re-rolled a Charr. I deleted my Warrior and I wasn’t feeling the love from the Engineer, unfortunately, so I re-rolled a Thief called Tsuno Greyfang and took a better look at this profession. And one of the guys from the guild Global Takeover on Northern Shiverpeaks inspired me to cosplay in GW2 since he plays with a toon named “Lt Char Aznable” and runs around in red garb with gold trim and black highlights. Ergo… This is as close as I can get to replicating Altair Ibn-La’Ahad’s look in the game.
Starter Thief hood, everything else is lv.65-75 crafted medium armor. I got Tungsten as a color drop for the gloves’ metallic highlights, White was the only dye I shelled out for; the rest are from the basic color palette.

facepalm Thank you for all the help. I thought they took a page out of Splinter Cell and the renown meter would only fill if you clicked on each of the flags in sequence.
And I thought the devs were evil enough when it came to the dungeons… ;P

I’m not good at this, plain and simple. So much for map completion. I didn’t realize I’d be in a Tenchu-like environment where you can’t kill anyone. I applaud ArenaNet for making varied renown quests but this is… well, it’s something else, let’s put it at that.

Whatever good intentions he had, I won’t let the alleged good intentions of one charr take precedence over the Legions. Never heard of his storyline again, I’m afraid.

Eloise, I hope you can give everyone a timetable of your current projects. That way we don’t pressure you, and to give us all reasonable expectations on when to see your finished work. I for one am anticipating the first of your completed requests.
