Not sure why they moved my post here, like the last post of this they moved to “Feedback” Think the forum staff really are dislodged from the game a lil. Plus this video had nothing to do with “Feedback” or links. Merely this video was made to boost and make people lol!

Yes Its there first major event, but they gave people Legendary precursers in there chests (not me) but for that, I cannot complain. It was a Epic 1 time event boss and hey pulled it off, yes there was buggs but they did there kitten.

Aye tho he left us for dead, we had a pritty much full wipe, near the first bit of our Karka adventure… alas this guy rezed himself… Tho not to rez everyone else he had other things on his mind…

kittening hillarious made my night.

It was just very frustrating, if they wanted to they could have had the Karka spawn all over different places of lions arch, splitting players up and away from each other. Thus reducing the amount of lagg in one converged area.

Also there was a possibility to make a mini instance where it’d zone 10-20 people into a mini instance to fend off the mobs in lions arch (Kind of like story) and make the mobs a lil weaker. Therefore that also would have helped move the story on.

In hindsight there is alot that could have been done and handled better.
There should reward players for turning up to events like this too. I mean in future people might try and avoid events like this because of there being no benefit to attend them other than a massive armor bill.
Tho the only thing I’d like at this current time is ArenaNet just admitting, yes we messed up this event and we are sorry. Its the Free Weekend, best time to get new players involved. But seeing a event happen like this has from the forum posts I’m seeing, making them want to avoid the game. They’ve gotta do more to entice people to stay. I will be turning up to the other two events, but if nothing happens to reward people and/or its the same thing again today as it was yesterday, I will be seriously annoyed that ArenaNet are not listening to there fanbase, deleting/not answering forum posts is not helping at this current moment in time.

I was at the time of the event making a video, originally I was aiming for it to be a music video event video showing the highlights of the event to promote Guild Wars 2, Alas instead as I recorded myself and other guild members, the reactions of the event, suppass the that.

One of my guild members last night was Banned from the Forums after first being humiliated after reporting about the event saying it was unacceptable, as many players and myself experienced the lagg fest, impossible to kill NPC’s, dieing over and over and over, and the time wasted on the event only to have it backfire on the players that hold and love the franchise so dearly.

I got off lucky, I managed to find a Overflow server half the way through the video after crashing, which ment I “Could” hit back, alas everyone else wasn’t so lucky, tonns of death and even naked players running around fighting.

Reward after that was to be humiliated, we were given with the task of “Donating” Your own stuff to the repair effort, for tokens. These tokens can by you gear that isn’t at all good. The only thing I can see worth while is Black Lion keys. The armor exotics are worth 1,200 tokens and if 6 Rare Quality pieces of armor get me 290 tokens, I fail to see the point.

I myself as a dedicated and loyal fan of the Guild Wars 2 Franchise feel with this event many players were cheated and there time was wasted. We all turned up to this once in a lifetime event only to die constantly, The reward for turning up not at all being worth it and felt slightly cheated. Guild member of my posted on the forums for example saying about how the event isn’t working, only to have first of all, all his words changed to kitten, then his whole message edited to one paragraph about lagg, then deleted and him banned, for speaking his mind about the event.

Does Arena.Net hope to reward/compensate the true players of the game that spent alot of time getting excited about this event, and give them a apologise/compensation those that took part in the event, and the money and time that got wasted as a result failure?

The Whole server is complaining about the massive amount of lagg they are receiving “Today” in /map and /guild Its happened since the beginning of the day, and it seems to be serverwide. I’ve even seen a few lvl 80’s say they cannot quest due to this lagg.
Any hints when this will be resolved?
