this nerf was just unnecessary. I can’t figure out a way to have good survivability now since i have to hit 3 primal bursts in order to get the max of my adrenal health like IT COSTS 3 ADRENALINE BARS TO GET INTO ZERK AND YOUR TELLING ME IT COUNTS AS ONE ADRENALINE BAR WHEN USED ANET PLEASE

They were flying they did it about twice and somehow they got into our base a few minutes later, no walls down, no doors open.

If you are not able to buy the expansion pack will you not be able to play the new WvW map? if so, I believe that would negatively impact some guilds and a lot of people who can not afford an expansion. It would also bring forth problems such as more people from one server who have the money to buy the pack on the new BL and capping it while the other servers can’t because they have less people to fight the opposing forces. I am an avid WvW player and do play with a guild i was just wondering how this will be dealt with and implemented into Guild Wars 2.

The Souls of Tyria is a relatively small and new guild but I hope that many will join

What Worked for me was that Guild wars 2 wouldn’t work for windows service pack 3

After looking through the Game Advisor reports attached to this thread and looking at support tickets that have been coming into us, a lot of players appear to have port 6112 blocked which you can see under “Checking server connectivity”:

I was connecting like a week ago this problem just started over Easter weekend and i am connected to my house hold wireless internet and how does one fix this problem

I have sent emails but they are very unresponsive they asked for a game adviser text so i provided one and haven’t heard from them since and I also have been able to connect perfectly fine until 2 days ago when this problem arose

I still dont understand it doesnt work i updated the gw2 test Text but mabey its on arena nets end because other people in my household can play but me

Under the DNS section, click the bubble for the automatic DNS setting, then click OK.

Just follow the same instructions, this time choose your wireless connection. The IP address there is probably incorrect for your DNS server judging by your Gateway address. Usually it’s the same address as the default Gateway if you are using your ISP’s DNS server.

In your PC (use the previous instructions), change 192.168.2.95 either to ALL zeros which will remove it or use the OpenDNS addresses. Try removing it, which will revert to your default ISP’s DNS server.

That address is wrong (192.168.2.95) unless you happen to be hosting your own DNS server on your local network – which I highly doubt.

i cant seem to find the ip adress once i hit properties on wireless connection i

I thank you for you help I really appreciate it but still im downloading 0/kb and 0/kbs heres a new Game adviser test to see whats the other problem also my parents dont really want me touching or messing with the router

You should start by removing the browser hijacker that’s on your system (Conduit):

- ValueApps

These hijackers can affect your entire internet. Here are two (free) utilities that I use to remove such things from client’s PC’s (ADWcleaner and Junkware Removal Tool):

After that, reset your network by doing the following:

Go to the Start Menu, type cmd and right click, and select “Run As Administrator”.
Type the following commands, each followed by pressing enter:

ipconfig /flushdns
nbtstat -R
nbtstat -RR
netsh int reset all
netsh int ipv4 reset
netsh int ipv6 reset
netsh winsock reset

Now reboot.

[Note] This will reset the Windows firewall also. If you are sharing files over a network you will need to re-enable ‘File and Printer Sharing’ in Windows firewall.

EDIT: i did something… now when i open i the launcher it will switch between 0kb/0kb to connection error detected retrying… well i guess its retrying but failing

Is there any way possible if a dev could tell me if they are trying to work on a bigger situation like…i dont know… Many people can’t play GW2 because of Connection Error detected or please check your internet and try again. Many people are having this problem and many say its on Anets end since no procedure worked for them I beg for an answer to my question if possible only because i am having the same issue as others.

If you sumbitted a ticket, they’ll likely tell you to enter msconfig and turn a few things off. Its what they did with me.

Same but it didn’t work so i emailed them back that it didn’t work no response since yesterday. Just wondering did it work for you if so what did you disable?

Every time i open GW2 i either has connection error detected, Connection failed or Sometimes it pops up with an update bar that’s completely blacked out and continuously says checking for updates even though nothing happens. Why?

I’ve heard that problem is on ANets end but i dont know if they are trying to fix the issue

I had this issue last night, got email back today to run game advisor app. Sent info back in email. Me being impatient, I figure uninstall and re install. After I uninstall I can’t even reinstall now because it won’t connect.

i also did the same and now i can’t reinstall either but i have been waiting for over 12 hours for a response after i sent them the game adviser stuff they need

I have had this problem ever since they started the weekly content crap, when I messaged support they told me it was my ISP… I caled my ISP and they ran tests onm y connection then pinged the Anets server using my connection and claimed it was Anets server and had nothing to do with my connection… and I have not been able to play since last year due to this bullcrap so for everyone saying “Guess we just need to wait for a fix” your going to be disappointed… like I said…. I aint been able to play since last year, thats how long I have had this problem and not been able to play…..

Why can’t they work on helping the people who lost their privilege to play due to this error or another so they can regain a majority of their fan base back because they are already losing me since their support doesn’t respond fast and they don’t seem to be fixing anything related to this

I can’t install the game because of this continuing problem i tried the msconfig ad other ways the guild wars support told me too but they all don’t work does someone have any solutions or answer to why this is happenning

FWIW, you’re not alone. Based on the diagnostics I did it appears to be a problem is on ArenaNet end (it looks like maybe with the authentication server(s) if I’m correctly interpreting the data).

Guess we all wait for now.

It’s not just you, i’ve gone through all the fixes that are all over the internet and nothing works, its not on our end. I have the same problem and so do many other people. Looks like we just have to wait it out.

i guess i have no choice

Every time i tried opening the GW2 Launcher it would come up with Connecting Error or Please check your internet… I wanted to ask if there is any way to fix this continuing problem i have been guild wars deprived for 1 day now i need help on how to fix this issue if you can i thank you, if you can’t i thank you for trying I just don’t understand why this is happening.
