Revenant was intentionally made to get away from the normal use of certain weapons.
Hammer is their ranged weapon – usually the heavy cc melee weapon
Mace is their condi weapon
Axe is offhand only and also condi orientated.
Staff is melee with emphasis on CC
Sword is their main dps weapon – a spot usually reserved for greatsword.

If Anet gave Revenant a greatsword, it should be as their ranged condi weapon.

Releasing more weapons as part of Elite specializations is not the answer. Elite specializations should focus on modifying all current existing abilities is closer to the right direction. Also, all the weapons should be available to nearly all classes regardless of Elite specializations.

If they can’t do that then ArenaNet should allow for cross weapon transmutation one-handed melee weapons with melee and one handed ranged with the one handed ranged. Two-handed melees with the melee and the ranged with the ranged so on and so forth.

So I’m just complaining because Revenant cannot use GreatSword, and I think that that isn’t right because every other heavy class (Warrior and Guardian) can use a GreatSword. If your read this ArenaNet please let the Revenant use a GreatSword in further updates, or at least let Herald use a GreatSword because GreatSword is my favourite weapon and I really want to be able to use it on my favourite class, thank you if you see this and add the GreatSword to the Revenant/Herald class. BattleNet if you see this please contact Danklerr9@gmail.com if you will NOT let Revenant/Herald use GreatSword, or if you will,
