Hello there,
I played GW2 at launch until mid-to-late October, made a few characters, but then stopped playing for awhile due to some personal issues. I came back to the game a couple weeks ago.
When I came back I deleted one character and rolled a brand new Warrior. I got the warrior up to level 45-ish and received my Monthly Achievement rewards for that character. I then began playing my Necromancer who was level 46 (from before) and I started using him as my main within a few days.
Now my Monthly Achievements are done for the Necromancer, as well, but I don’t receive my rewards. It has just said 100% for several days on the Monthly Achievement tracker.
Can I only get the Monthly Achievement rewards once per month per account?
Thanks. My main is a Norn and I was thinking they might facilitate jumping puzzle completion. I’ll check out Mystery Tonic.
I did this at level a few days ago with my conditionmancer. I died several times in the courtyard before it finally dawned on me that the acolytes were raising them (I mean, duh…). I’m not really sure how many acolytes were there at the start but when I figured it out there were two left.
I barely managed to kill the first one right as I died. I rez’d and ran back and killed the other one without dying. I’m honestly wondering now if I could have cleared the entire thing without dying as, by that point, my armor was shredded.
It’s certainly tough and required a lot of kiting and Death Shroud but it’s (obviously, as thousands and thousands of people have done it…) doable.
Bring a couple Repair-in-a-Can consumables.
Hey all. I played GW2 from launch to about mid-October until life got in the way for awhile. I have been back for a couple of weeks now and I am really enjoying it.
It seems to me (and I’m old with a foggy mind and could be completely wrong…) that, at launch, there were consumables I was getting pretty often from mob drops that I am no longer seeing.
The consumables in question would morph me into another creature; skritt, quaggan or whatever; for a short time and were purely cosmetic. Am I dreaming or did they exist? Do they not exist anymore?
Thanks
Think of these Personal Story foes as you would bosses in dungeons.
Try, fail.
Try, fail.
Try, fail.
Make a plan.
Try, succeed.
Did the next step last night in Timberland Falls. My three choices…
Power/Precision
Power/Precision
Power/Critical Damage
It’s true that gear isn’t super important while leveling but I’m just a bit peeved that, as a necromancer, I get no condition damage options… I think it’s odd.
I understand that, due to the bleed cap and some other issues, us conditionmancers are few and far between but I have not had one even vaguely useful Personal Story quest reward since the back brace, and I just retook Claw Island. I can’t do much with Power gear…
Any chance this can be improved in the future, or that options can be made more intuitive? Thanks.

Problem:
I can only represent a guild with my “main” toon, for whatever reason. Clicking the “Represent” button with another toon does nothing.
