Not in the ticket update threads, no answer apart from the copy paste fraudulent code response everyone else got.
Thanks Gray. I don’t know if I blocked the attempt in time, however. Maybe I was even drunk and allowed access? I find it suspicious I was banned mid-game right after changing the password after someone from CH tried to login. I asked a dozen people who bought GW2 from the same shop as me, none were banned. I find it hard I’m the only one banned out of the entire batch.
I re-opened my ticket after it was closed, but I’m not hopeful.

Doesn’t even make sense. I bought the code myself and applied it myself. The only weird thing ever to happen was a random connection attempt from China, but I thought that was a normal thing since I’ve seen people on reddit show 50 attempts in a day. I also changed my password after this just in case. Not sure if that flagged it?Hello,

NCsoft Payment ReviewI’m wondering if you were hacked (based on the attempts you noted from China) and that you were simply “flagged” in the system with the wrong error.
Please don’t be offended by “copy pasted” answers. There are legitimate reasons to use a standard type of response for these issues. If we “ad lib” every one, we might forget some of the valuable information we need to share, so using a response that has the same key components is really the best way to answer player concerns.

WOW, totally amazing. Got a refund from the seller faster that Arenanet can get my account in a state where I can again get into game.

I’m in Australia, we’re a day ahead.
I think I was sold an illegal key as to why I was banned, I at least need confirmation so I can start taking action. I imagine several others posting the last few days might be from the same seller.
4 days with no answer for any company is terrible. The posts here dating 2 months back show this has been standard for a long time.

Your ticket is NOT 4 days old. It was open on the 8th which i can tell by the number. 121108. 12 = Year. 11= Month. 8= Day. For yours to be 4 days old, it would need to be 121106. Please be patient like everyone else

Haven’t heard anything apart from ‘give us your code’.
Really at least just want the reason why so I can get a refund from the retailer if it’s not something trivial, my time is running out on the possibility of a refund.

Bought mine on Ebay, suspended after 24hrs..if it is an illegal key, I need an actual statement as to why I was banned so I can ask for a refund/dispute Paypal, 48hrs later I still haven’t gotten any reply other than “escalating your ticket to sales team”.
Got an entire weekend and no game to play -_-Most of the times the owner of the card used to buy the account asked for a chargeback, then they sold you the key.
What i really wonder is why they do that on paypal, so easy to get refunded..
Not really. 50/50~~ at best, they don’t cover ‘intangibles/digital items’. God I’m an idiot. But so far Arena haven’t even confirmed this, so I can’t dispute it with Paypal yet.
