On top of that it’s a tiny 10% increase shared over a max of 5 people, so you’re looking at only a 2-3% increase in party damage.

Huh? It’s not 10% shared…it’s 10% for each person affected with the effect. In practice, not a flat 10% increase over time, but not as bad as you’re making out.

I’d pretty much only reduced the healing ICD interval significantly, and made the Active heal also clear conditions.
Band-aided to it’s finest.

I like that. Also love the scaling with healing power idea. I think it would go a long way to making it usable.

From everything I’ve read in the forums – water spirit is pretty lackluster due to a lack of condition clears, terrible interval on heals (limiting hps), and lower co-efficients.

Wondering about altering it a bit:

Healing Healing: 805 (0.09)? <— removed
Water Spirit (6s): 75% chance to heal yourself on hit. <— 75% chance to grant regen (3 sec) with the usual co-efficients
Number of Targets: 5
Duration: 60s
Interval: 10s <— maybe reduce this to 5 seconds?
Radius: 1,000

Nature’s Vengence could pulse a condition clear on a 3 sec CD instead. Maybe 5s if it’s too much. Could also put the condition cleanse in the base ability instead, though this would limit the use of the spirit without Nature’s Vengence (i.e. no regen).

Thoughts? I’d desperately love for this spirit to be viable in some way – only talking PvE here btw…

Astral Wisp

Heck, add the blind to the basic wisp, and change Lingering Light to proc Regen on allies hit with the wisp. Would give us actual Regen on staff, and would allow for healing of party members AFTER they leave the area of the wisp.

No, please, no more regen on Ranger. We are so overkilled by it that I can’t even contain myself.

I find Lingering Light in balanced state. Staff is my concern.
Wisp is what needs something to be rewarding. More Damage? Bonus condition glued? Bonus effect on the Wisp Heal like increased might? Anything.
Right now I don’t even know if I did something wrong when playing staff. Because everything on it except #5>#3 combo feels equally worthless.

LOL – noted. Does Grace of the Land Proc from wisp? Maybe if it orbited faster at a larger radius it would help by increasing group damage?

The whole staff feels like an Astral Bar filler.
#1? A filler
#2? Another filler
#3? Well, okay this one is useful
#4? A skill that I haven’t yet found a good use of. Immob is short and effect delay long.
#5? A deflect that is a filler

Astral Wisp is not the only problem but one to be looked at for sure.
The whole design is rather strange. You won’t be able to use CAF as often as you need to with any other weapon than staff… But Having it is good for nothing else but filling up the bar.
If #2 felt like a real ability that procced slow or blind or cleanse or whatever I wouldn’t probably find the setup as strange.

That’s pretty awesome, actually…might be a bit TOO awesome though no? The wisp is on a short cool down, is AoE healing every second or two. It’s not hard to keep it up most of the time. Still, I like your thinking.

Pet F2 cast times and reliability

All the pets, even the HoT pets is in grave need of a massive overhaul. Increasing the base movement speed of the pets by 50% would be a good start for our melee pets. Also, the pets aren’t reliable when they are dead, so giving them some damage reduction vs aoe damage, and changing our current condition cleanses so they cleanse our pets conditions as well, instead of throwing more on them would be nice (the problem with pets dying without any counterplay is not exclusive to pve, so the minion damage reduction from aoe should not be limited to pve, especially not for the ranger).

They are getting 95% damage reduction to AoE when not expressly targeted by creatures.

Doesn’t it kind of make sense that the Druid would be the last one detailed given it’s closest ties with the lore of the new expansion? Maybe there are spoilers involved?

OP: sucks that they have the info, do what I did and change the password. I like the account security tips here in the forum…haven’t had a bite since I followed the password suggestions. Didn’t change the email address either.
