I also really don’t like this type of poll. I think people will tend to be biased toward saying that their class needs balancing (myself included). It then becomes a thread of how many people play the classes that can be considered underpowered in certain situations, instead of which classes actually need balancing.

I also have 64 bit windows 7. Still havent seen any official word on the problem though

I have the same problem. This is the second time this has happened to me, and though I have seen multiple topics about this issue, and posted one myself, I have not seen any official word about it.

I was able to get it working after a reboot suggested here:https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Guild-Wars-2-unable-to-start/first#post1313462 (sorry if that is not the format, I dont know the forum that well).

However it would still be great to hear what might have caused this issue.

I finally downloaded the big 1 GB update at about 8:30 pm est and just got into the game when a message appeared saying a new build was available. I quit the game and double clicked on my Gw2.exe to restart the game. However, nothing happened. So I waited a bit and double clicked on it again. This time a message appeared saying “Already Running” and that it couldnt launch because another copy of the game was being run on my computer. I closed that window and checked my task manager, but no other copy of GW2 was running. I have not been able to launch GW2 and I keep getting that message when I try. Please help me, lol.

Haven’t you guys learned, the official release time for anything fromANet is “when its ready”
