Have you tried performing the reset again? As Xellahmai and green plum noted, you’ll probably need to repeat this process each time you notice this behavior until the underlying issue is addressed by Apple.

Also, we’ll need more information than just your CPU. Check out this sticky for instructions on how to provide the most important system specs under Lion (10.7.X) and Mountain Lion (10.8.X):

I have still problems.

I’ve done SMC reset few days ago because my Windows version had fps problems.
After I did it, everything goes all right.

Today, anyway, I decided to delete my Windows partition and use only the Mac client.

Performance are really really bad.
With near everything on “medium” and resolution of 2048x??? (I don’t remember exactly) I have something like 10-15 fps.

I have a Retina, of course, with a 2.6GHz processor.

I’m kinda new here and I don’t know what profession I should choose.

I don’t want the typical “hit-one-button” profession.
I’d like to play something that it’s not easy to master and that, in the long time, will give you a lot of satisfactions.

So, what do you suggest?
