Guild Wars 2

So i was a hardcore WvW from launch on for about 18 months, i ended just ~when the borderlands Runes of Powers were introduced, i’ve been off since then so.. what did i miss? Any great changes i should be aware of?

I looked everywhere to try and find these Shoulder Pieces

I know the rest of the Armour set, but can’t find the shoulders :/
Anyone know what they are and where to get them?

As part of IRON I can say that most people in out guild don’t like blobbing. We also hate the skill lag that we get from it… The problem is that blobbing is the only way to win right now. If you split up into smaller groups you get rolled over from the blobs that then come to defend.

It really depends on what you plan to do in WvW.

I’ll give you my example: I run with IRON, which is a dedicated WvW guild. This means that whenever I’m in WvW I will be running with a zerg + a build that is needed. IRON expects all warriors to have PTV (Power/Vitality/Toughness) gear because we need a lot of health when hitting other Zergs. The role of the warrior in an organised zerg is to absorb damage, and survive as long as possible.

I use a shout build, which means that I traited that shouts: Heal, Reacharge Quicker, give adrenaline, and remove a condition (Superior Rune of the Soldier). I also have Clerics trinkets so the shouts heal more.

Every warrior is required to carry a Hammer. This is because they give great CC to a warrior. The second set is customizable but I run with Sword/Axe, because the sword has one of the best Burst skills, and a leap finisher, and the axe has whirling axe which deals out good amount of damage and gives a ton of adrenaline.

Remember this is a Zerg build not a roaming/small group build.

I was making some jewelry the other day and I found that Ruby Orbs were no longer classified as a Jeweling component. I looked at the wiki:

and there it said as well that it should be jewelry.
I also attached a file of a screenshot that I took at the time.

We just had an amazing three way attack on SFRs garrison. SFRs numbers a nucking futs! How can you get that many people? We managed to do it but it took 3 tries and both times we we’re whiped, without even seing them. Might be because of culling but still. I can’t wait to see more from this matchup.

Like the people said previously we need more numbers, usually we face enemies twice our size and still beat them but in the end we are only so big and can’t cover everything.

Come to Desolation it’s a great community here, and no egos. Everyone is very friendly with each other (and I truly mean that), and all the people i know that have switched to Desolation are definitely enjoying it here.

I agree wit everything that has been said on this post. The Commander… are you kidding me? It simply causes us to camp in our own borderlands to make sure we don’t loose those two towers, which makes it impossible to attack other places effectively.

Also the amount of badges that are needed for any of the gear is unbelievable that it really forces us into dungeons, which are really repetitive and are not for everyone out there. I feel like the recent updates really are forgetting the WvW community. I mean you talk to all the other guilds why not us?
