Pros:
• LOVED the mount, spend hours just riding and taking in the scenery
• Map is not so hostile as in Hot, there is room to breath.
• Choya were fun, liked Hyrdas and sharks
Cons:
• Unidentified loot – money sink just to get maybe some rares is not fine. If they would stack with diferent rarity I would like that. This is the one hings that right now makes me think about not buying the game.
• Mount got stuck behind many small ledges.
• Mastery point behind minigames

All in all: Unidentified loot, keeps me from trusting this expac.

Same error and same problem. Can log in with my one charr, but none of humans, weird.

I’m interested on that too. Upgraded my own account and my gf one with same PayPal account. In upcoming g weeks I plan to buy two more for my friends and I haven’t even thought about this being potentially problematic.

While I try to install it to my new laptop, the site crashes after I click to download game client and get error after a while:

Wow this outcome has been sad. I was planning to write post just like that after work. Visiting this forums for past week or so is nothing but toxic boiling mess. Why is there no gratitude towards all that is happening. I wont say it’s all lovely dovely, but hell..it’s not that bad and I don’t want to bring that in this thread too. It is nice to see that there are people who take this relase with a bit happier tone. So All Devs here, belive that not everybody is full of poison here. Hope you wont have very messed up patch day

You can use HoT crafted precursor in old recipe. If you don’t want you don’t have to buy dusk now but can craft it in HoT. Cheers

Just a question, will be taking part of beta first time with Hot here. If I make beta char it will make a copy of my bank.. this meaning I can use all consumables/runes/armors and so on and wont lose anything from my real account?

Though frankly with the buffs to burning I would suggest a mix of rampager/carrion till you can get celestial.

I got now a question on the part, “till you get celestial” – why celestial?

So there are people who claim that this exp is worth its money. How is this legit? This price is totally for stand-alone game as GW2 came out. What would have you tought if the base game had come with no character slots? Well many claim it’s totally okey for HoT to come without one. And WE will be ALL be getting the base game once again(if buying exp), whoop whoop…and we get nothing from buying base game again. Calling is free when buing HoT is even worse, because this means that ONLY HoT itself cost it’s miinimum price, 45€. Lets see some numbers then:
Core game: 49,99€:
• 30 maps
• 8 proffesions
• 5 character slots
• Story for all the diferent races
HoT: 45€:
• A few new maps
• 1 profession ( +8 new weapon usages for older classes)
• 0 character slots
• One story for all
• Guildhalls
I have bought gems in the beginning(in the first year) as i wanted to support devs for making awesome game. Now everything is in gemstore and next comes such highly priced exp. This is just sad, nothing else.

I see many people having problem that specialisations are like straight upgrades and see that as a problem. But when this info was first introtuced it was said that no more new classes (beside reverant) will be added and now classes vill be evolved trough specialisations. This means that after HoT they will give more specialisations to choose from.
So as i see it is no problem that specialisations are like upgrades, if we have many (in the end).

Now for a week or so, every time I log off to character selection page and then log back in, in about 5-10min, my character have teleported to another side of the map piece. Last it happened in Gendarrian fields, i was standing near Almuten Waypoint and after login I was standing next to Lions Arch Gates. This has happened now often and is quite annoying.

I like the patch, only problem i had was in the last fight in the Hidden Arcana. I dont know if it was meant to be or just really bad coincidence.When i needed to get this fragile shield thing around me and get color-code in fight with Malevolent Memory. ALL shield/bubble things appeared in the same purple ares Malevolent Memory created everywhere and rolling over them with dodge still killed. so i spend 10+ min looking for sheild that was not in the hostile area.
If it was meant to be then ok i get it. Just wanted to share problem i had.

Anyway great patch, love stoory and nice armor too

Do you have any in inventory? Last I tried, you could trade them in at the black lion weaponsmiths, using the ‘limited-time tickets’ option. That only comes up if you have some in inventory, though.

Why can’t i trade my fortune scraps anymore? Not a trader in Sanctur nor will Black Lions merchant trade scraps anymore. Like that gone ?

Actually there already are people with Sunless weapons, already saw claymore.

But in the LS picture there is a drgan that certainly isn’t Sunless. Can it truly be a story progression on a field of Elder Dragons.

As patch came my monthly is now 0/4 and chempion complete and crafting is gone. What happened?

Most I see here in forum is with negative tone. I didn’t find any post about including daily’s into living world as it was this time. So all i want to say that i really liked it, and made this one feel more of a living world and took off much of stress on doing everything on that QJ needs to get it done. I think this was much needed add-on to the game. This way first time i didn’t run off to do achievements by dulfy guides but instead took part of it day by day.
