I had the same idea a couple of months ago. You just cant let a new player join ranked games.Like you did with dungeons. Can anyone enter Arah before 80? its impossible. Do the same with Ranked. You have all the intel and information you need to choose which rank is the best to start playing Ranked games.

For example 1-30 can join only practice, 30-60 Unranked 60-80 Ranked games, with the same rewards for everyone.

I would like to have a full traditional expansion that will take me some days/weeks to run through it than a piece by piece living story release that will kill my anticipation for it

I would love to see a random 1st year mini like Gw1 had.

If its not some super secret in Anet can anyone answer this please?

In my book the T6 mats drop rate improved dramatically.
which made me think that the new cap in crafting disciplines (500) will require…so many of them…that i already started storing them

What the op said. It should be 5vs5 premade tournaments and mixed join (solo and teams < 5 ).

For the 4 vs 5 thing the only solution i find viable is to “freeze” or kick one player from the opposite team to balance things up until a 5th came in for the problematic team.

if a second one disconnects then another player “freezes”/kicked from the other team to balance again.

Please add leeching to report options.
So we can report them . there s no way for them to get the dishonor if they actually move an inch every second but they dont help the team.

it would be nice if the /report_player name is added also. (gw1 style)

I use it to buy boxes. I have posted a guide on how to gain more boxes.
You just have to use karma boosts and your tries will be multiplied.

Unwanted karma is never wasted btw.You can only earn gold/lodestones and nothing to lose. If you have above 500k karma, with all the boosters active (banner,guild karma,bonfire/karma boost,) you ll get around 300k karma back. keep using karma potions you got and you ll be a happy little guy at the end.

(always gather all your karma, and karma potions before using potions, the drops change dramatically when you open many boxes at once instead one by one)

Important…..only unwanted karma is good to be used that way.All other ways i tried to use my karma on, failed big time compared to boxes.

Simple Answer. No. I enjoy the game more now. I play WvW and PvP without worrying about farming tons of gold and materials.

Giant Wyrm can spawn like it is now and at some point of its Hp can split up in 2 and have 4 heads (Hydra like Wyrm) with oozes coming out of its 4 mouths poisoning the ground.

I think the skins have stopped dropping or something. Last 100 chests or so I’ve gotten nothing, and it seems to be the same for a lot of you guys as well. Can anyone confirm getting a skin in the last couple days?

If they dont add scavenger hunt and they fix all speed clears then prepare for a big attack here.

Theres really no reason to stop the gold income if you dont have another solution for the pre’s. We all agree Rng for the Legendary is bs so you have 2 options atm (drop from chest is not one of them) You either try your luck in Mystic,F or farm Cof for the gold.

Took me 40 days to gather all the gold needed to buy dusk after i lost 200g in the mystic forge. Run Cof 1+h then 3-4 slow runs with an alt every day. And now i have my Twilight.

I know its bs.I am waiting for the scavenger now to get my second Legendary.

Xzy you are absolutely right on the matter of prices. Supply and demand are the top reasons for this rise of prices and then you have those guys that raise the price on their own by placing offers with huge difference from the previous one.

Atm you can see that the offer for Dusk is at 629g and then comes a guy that raises the offer @ 660 instead of just a copper or even a gold. We are the ones to blame for the prices

Well.They added the new bonfire +50%. Still you get enough karma from the banner and the karma booster.

Good point Arvid i forgot about that. So the net amount of gold loss was? 76 exotics you say? around 210g . 400g then. Not bad after all. BUT theres always the chance that you ll never get it. What are you gonna do if you spend all those and never get a pre?

So Tribune you used 1540 daggers. How much does a rare dagger cost atm ?
I think its 38 to 40 silver.So you wasted around 600g to get it. The buy offer is 610g atm so you almost bought it. Gz but thats still a problem on the precursors

Lucas you over exaggerate now. Gw2 its not only the legendary and of course the game will not empty. If anyones choice was to farm then it was his fault. And you cant play the tp with all the items in there. There are specific things you can power sell and with a danger to lose instead of make money

We were promised new ways to get a pre with the last patch. The prices dropped a little at the 1st week ,its true but now we are in the same situation as before. I hope the new update will bring more changes for the pres (at least for the really expensive ones).

Atm i make less gold per day than the price they gain of the pre. Dusk goes up 20g each day (Buy order). With this rate i will always be a step back even if i wanted to buy it from TP.
To overcome this i have to lvl up at least 4 alts and run cof all day.
I have 3 alts already but instead of enjoying the gameplay of the different classes i blindly farm cof .

I dont know if it is our fault that we are so obsessed with Legendaries. But atm we dont have another goal as it seems. WvW update will keep me busy at least. We will see.

I you dont get it with exotics in the 20 tries (80 exotics) then just save your money and buy it off the tp. Or better dont even try in MF

Being trying a while now. over 200 rares and 50 exotics. No luck yet.
Overall loss of gold around 200g. I am just convinced it will not drop from the Mys.Forge for me.

But on the other hand you hear stories of a guy dropping one time 4 rares for the daily and get a pre, the other get 2 precursors on 80 exotics and you say wtfffffffffffffffff

I think this is the right place to post. This is nothing new i am sure but….
Legendary weapons should be account bound even after equipped. After all the hard work and time spend to gather everything needed i dont understand why it has to be soulbound on equip.

It should be also account bound on craft because some of the gifts needed are not trade-able and come from personal work (like Gift of exploration) so you cant sell it.

I am not 100% sure about the last one but i dont like the idea of being able to buy it if you cant buy all the materials needed to craft it also.

I am stuck at 99 cause i miss one point of interest and one vista.
I was waiting for Friday’s rotation so i can visit these places but unfortunately we got the same map we had last week.

my server ranked up so we have alot of competition atm and its almost impossible to capture those places.

I don’t know if WvW map completion should be removed or just get limited to your homeland places.

I have posted this a couple of weeks ago.Its Definitely needed.being on 99% is a pain while searching for one heart and one point of interest.

Its also neede for the explorer title.Maybe they dont want to add it just to make it harder i dont know.
It was already there in gw1 (vanquishing) so i guess its not that big of a deal

yea i know.But you get the idea behind it.Having to do a certain amount of things in every map is like having to vanquish it.

It would be easier to notice which maps are left for the title

I would like to see their own place in the bank also.
I want to have more than one town clothes for example and i dont want to lose the costumes i bought over a mistake

Hello.
I would like to post this idea (which is basically Anet’s) so we can do Gw2 a better game to play.

It would be really handy to have an icon over the maps we have already completed (vanquished) so that we dont have to travel to those maps again to check.

I often forget which areas i have cleared so i believe more of the players are having the same issue.

The completed maps could have an icon under the name or smth similar to the one that was in Guild Wars 1.

Sorry if this was posted before but my search didnt help.

Speed clears were awesome in Gw1 and I dont understand why skills and organized teams must be penalized.

What i would like to add also is that dungeon armors and weapons are only good for their skin. So dungeons should have that grinding feeling because the runs for the armors are skin based and not about stats.

Not all players in Gw2 are custom ones.Some have more time to spend in the game and want a good reward for their efforts.(even if its skin only).

Please consider all the aspects of the matter.If a dungeon is small the players cant be blamed for their speed clears.

A lot of people does not read the forums and they are getting confused when they get lower rewards at the end.

Maybe the gameplay of the dungeons can change or the dungeons become larger.
