I like this a lot! It wouldn’t add any danger of making the game number crunchy like WoW.

Ever feel really cheated after fighting your way through hordes of enemies, doing battle with a monstrous boss only to receive a worthless reward for your trouble?

This isn’t about getting all blues, that has been discussed. What I’m talking about is having your heart skip a beat as you see yellow text while looting a chest, thinking you’ve got a rare piece of armor that you can actually use, or sell for a nice chunk of change. Then your hopes are dashed when you see it’s nothing but a stupid costume tonic, or an item enhancement that only works against one type of enemy. Today I went through Arah and received 3 of the aforementioned tonics. It is a big pain in the butt, and I cannot help but think about the -useful- stuff I could have gotten if those dumb things weren’t listed as Rare quality.

I have read posts from Anet on here talking about upcoming changes to loot tables in dungeons. I beg of you, developers, make our battling worth it. Nobody wants to be ghost for five minutes, or do a little extra damage against Inquest, especially when it means taking the place of a rare item that actually has value. What people want, what people -need- are high-level crafting materials and powerful weapons and armor.

In conclusion, you owe me some gold. ;P

I have been getting this error too, but I haven’t been disconnected in mid-play at all, unless I change instances. Also, I am lucky if I can even get into the game at all.

I’m trying to do the GW2 Diagnostic, but when I change the target, I get an error saying that the target is not valid.

After I have logged into the game client and hit the play button, when I click on my character in the character selection screen, I am disconnected (error code 7:11:3:189:101). It often takes several tries to get into the game. Sometimes I cannot get in period, even after an entire hour of attempts. This disconnect can also happen after successfully getting into the game when I try to change areas via waypoint, or zone out, or try to enter a story instance. I then have to try again and again to get back into the game because of the same issue mentioned above.

I have added GW2 to every permission in every part of my computer I can think of. Norton, my connection security settings, everything has been set to ignore Guild Wars 2 as a potential threat. I have even tried disabling my anti-virus programs all together, but even that does not help the problem. Even though I am on a University network, their admins insist that the trouble is not on their end.

I’m including my Game Adviser results, in case there is anyone who can read the thing. It’s all Greek to me.

Any help would be really appreciated. I have been unable to play this game in a week, and I have really been missing Tyria!
