I was working on map complete for Verdant Brink, and one of the POIs wasn’t showing up on the map. The square icon was missing, and when I moused over POIs in the top left, it didn’t sparkle. Turned out it was the Last Leap POI that was missing. When I went to the POI location, the icon appeared on my map.
I say just play multiple professions! I got a warrior, guardian, ranger, and necromancer all at 80, and they are all fun to play.
I think GW 2 is the type of game you don’t want to focus too much on 1 profession, at least IMO.

Playing one profession for too long just seems to get you into a rut. I started with a Mesmer, switched to a Necro, and now I’m playing a warrior (and enjoying it immensely).
Additionally, there’s a heavy cost involved with shaking up your build (in time or gold), so switching feels less viable the more you invest in your toon. Which also contributes to feeling bored. Unfortunately, I tried to change up my Mesmer build, but it really backfired (along with using up quite a bit of resources), and now I don’t want to play him at all.
