I am contemplating coming back to GW2 and have questions on the viability of engineers in PVP (wvwvw/pvp). Last I played engineers were not very viable in situations and lower on the competitive pvp tier. Has this changed in anyway?

Hello Board Members,

I have read quite a few topics and would love to receive a concise mentality on the current state of the game for Engineers.

I’m not to sure what constitutes as a bad player making rants or if there are actually problems with the class as I have just reached the level cap with my Engineer and it is my first level 80.

I love WvWvW and sPVP, how are engineers in regards to these two parts of the game?

Are engineers generally using pistols, rifles, shields, etc ?

Are the Devs planning on doing anything to Engineers in the coming future?
