Guild Wars 2

So far, it has worked. This is for my brother-in-law’s computer. Everytime he got the “Send error report”, he ALWAYS sent it, but never got a response from Anet. Apparently, and so far, it has worked. Thanks so much for posting this.

Hey guys. While looking through my screenshots of the game, I remembered when I took a screenshot of this chest while clearing a map (can’t rmember which one) and stumbled upon this chest, very close to a Vista. There was no option to open it or anything. It’s as if the chest was just part of the background, just another object.

Do any of you recognize it? If so, what is it exactly?

Well, after looking around some more around these forums, I found the solution 8by mistake, since it was a response to a whole different issue). If this happens to anyone, just delete the local.dat file in your game folder and restart the client. It’ll fix this issue immediately.

Hello. I usually play in windowed mode. I played about 2 hours ago with no problems whatsoever. Logged out, turned off the laptop, turned it back on again about an hour later. I started the launcher, it connected and auto-played. Then I hit the windows key and D (to go to desktop and delete a picture on it) and when I tried to click back to the game, it stayed minimized. Restarted the computer and nothing. As soon as it goes from launcher to window, it minimizes itself to taskbar.

I can hear the intro music playing but I can’t maximize it. The icon is in my taskbar and, when clicked on, it’s as if the game was up on my screen, but it’s not. As soon as I hit ENTER, a few seconds later I can hear the waypoint and NPC conversations around my character, meaning that the game responds to me hitting ENTER and enters the game with the last played character, but I CAN’T see anything, only the desktop. Like i said, I played just two hours ago, did my daily… it was perfectly fine.

Please help. I can’t find any solutions on the web, anywhere.

I’m attaching a screenshot of the icon in taskbar, chosen, but no game window popping up. Also, when I right-click the icon, there is no option to maximize.
