I started playing with sweetFX last night and didnt really notice much of a change at all. Maybe I was doing something wrong. I’ll have to play with it some more.

Have you tried the SweetFX Guild Wars 2 Dragons Reborn Settings that Otaur was using? All I did was load the same preset and it worked for me.

I didn’t. Where do I find it?

I got it from here: http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/1403/

There are also other presets available for Guild Wars 2 here: http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/1/,
but I’m not sure if they have the same effect as the Guild Wars 2 Dragons Reborn Settings (which is to improve graphics a bit without sacrificing speed) so I’m sticking with this one for now.

should I get regular or premium? are both of them free cuz I don’t see a price tag

Wait, there’s a premium version? I haven’t encountered any premium version. I simply downloaded mine for free from this site: http://sweetfx.thelazy.net/

Thanks a lot for sharing! This is just what I was looking for.

I’ve only started playing this game about a little less than a month ago with my low end laptop and set all of my settings to the lowest (except for Character Model Limit and Quality as well as Resolution) just to have a decent enough FPS (at least 30) to play. Although I’m not the type of person who cares a lot about graphics in games, I still would prefer having better quality if it doesn’t really sacrifice speed or anything of the sort.

I’ve only tested the SweetFX for about an hour but so far so good! I haven’t had a noticeable dip on speed as far as I’m concerned and the graphics seem to be clearer than before. This will help my experience in Tyria a little better than it what it could’ve been.

Not all of us who play GW2 are running on gaming rigs and for those who are playing on low-end laptops such as myself, this might just be the solution.

Again, thanks for sharing!
