I very much hope that they reconsider. It would be extremely disappointing otherwise.

I’m sure that the damage is percent based, so health doesn’t matter at all.

Hey there,

A friend of mine that played around during the Free Weekend decided to purchase the game. He cannot find any way at all to register the key to that account, which has character names he’d greatly like to keep. I tried looking around for him on this forum\around the site in general, but must have overlooked something. Is there something special he has to do? Thanks in advance.

I have 8 character slots.. half female, half male. I don’t really prefer one over the other, just like the thought/idea of having some balance.

Edit: Also, a lot of my names are based on things I’ve found interesting/books I’ve read… So it’s not really female for the sake of being female either.

There’s a picture of how to access it, in-case my instructions above weren’t clear.

Did you check your town clothing equip?

Edit: Access this by hitting “H” and clicking the cane/hat combo above your characters head.

It took me between 1k and 1.5k to get mine. On the other hand, a friend of mine opened more like 2k+ and didn’t get one.

Human Warrior…
Had a speed boost, but not sure if it really “helped”, it wasn’t super difficult to begin with. Just didn’t think about switching off of the trait.

Also, not really sure what’s up with the charr/norn complaining. I just used the fact I knew where my character was centered in the screen as a point of reference and it was just fine.

Well, as of now we have the ability to do dungeons with other servers on the same region(IE: Sorrow’s Furnace can do a dungeon with any other server on the American list)… But it’s worrisome that you can’t do them cross-region(Sorrow’s Furnace → Whiteside Ridge). As the guild is split between European and American, this is a potential future problem.

At this point in the game, our guild is finally settling down and mostly grouped together on one server. Being an international guild, we’ve had a bit of a problem finding that perfect server that suits everyone’s times the best. With that being said, we’ve begun to worry about when the paid transfers will finally kick in. If I remember correctly, we only had about 2-3 days warning before the once every 24 hour “rule” was kicked into place.

Basically, would it be wise to attempt to move our guild to another server(knowing that it could take 1-2 weeks, depending on several factors), knowing that a pretty sizable content update is coming so soon? Has Anet said anything at all about how long the free transfers will be staying?

I apologize if this is the wrong subforum to ask such a question, but I was not sure where else to put it. I also cannot seem to find much/anything that isn’t dated about the subject.
