Thank you for the replies. You’ve both answered my question and I can go back to running around that field like a mad woman, setting fire to centaurs and endlessly escorting a guy to pick up some armor.

I have seen a lot of bots in this game, and a lot of naked afkers. I decided to read up on how other players feel about these people because I wanted to know if I was the only person who was bothered by them.
I came upon some posts where people claimed that hanging around in an area, doing the same event over and over again is exploiting and bannable. I have done this very thing but I thought it was OK because I enjoy the fast pace of this event and the densely populated (by players and mobs) field where the event takes place.
Anyway, I saw this as choosing to linger in an area and play the game as I wish, even though my character is far too old for this area. If I am doing something wrong I would like to know because I don’t wish to be banned. I hope the people who said this is an exploit are wrong. Thanks for reading.

My friend is unable to log into the forums, but she and I are on skype and she asked me to please pass along this message:
“Can some one help me? I got the game, it worked with no problems for the first few days, and this morning when I logged. after about 15/ 20 min of playing my PC restarted it’s self. Then when I went to log back in, I got a driver issue message, so I downloaded and reinstalled the driver, and it’s still impossible for me to play the game. I would really love it if I could get some help here because I LOVE this game!”

So she cannot access the forum, she cannot play the game, but she is on top of her email and is also on the facebook gw2 page. She is very easy to contact.

That would be great. It’s very hard to come up with a name unless you choose to use a last name and believe it or not quite a few of those were taken when I tried to claim them. The randomize feature would have to be truly random though, rather than cycling through a finite number of names.

I’m very impressed with your honesty, but I really hope the GMs let you keep the gold. Then again it could be NPCs thanking you for helping them out. Happens to me all the time. Good luck!

I bought two copies of the game this morning. The one my husband is using is working just fine, but I keep crashing and the error thinks I don’t have an internet connection. Thing is, we’re using the same connection and are both plugged in (not using wireless). Is there anything I can do to stop this frequent crashing? It’s happening every 10-20 minutes and makes partying no fun, since I go to overflow after a DC while he stays in the main area.
