I think the underwater trident abilities would be awesome on land. Maybe replace the sinking ability with a n immobilization.
The respawn timer is 10 minutes. 10 minutes to activate, and only 1.5 seconds to kill. You tag usually 1-3 monsters in the whole ordeal. That’s insane. The best fix for this is faster respawn, and more health for the mobs.
They even stated in the Livestream yesterday that the mobs would be a medium of easy and hard, so everyone could do it. Looks like that plan flopped.
I’m surprised is as shoddy as it is. The holograms respawn every 10 minutes, and you usually only get 1-3 kills if there’s a crowd. Dragon Ball is a nice concept, but unbalanced. The fireworks are monotonous, the pinatas are the same. And 100,000 candy for a pair of kitten wings? that’s ridiculous.
Only receiving massive crippling Network Lag during Dragon Fights. No attacks work, but chat works. Makes Dragon Events, and my main source of hunting rares and precursors, completely unplayable.
(Before working on adding more content, which is great, you should probably fix the game breakers… Just my opinion.)
It’s still happening with the Fire and Frost Prelude update. Only when I go to dragon events does this happen. Attacks, weapon swapping, dodge rolling, and changing gear doesn’t work. Chat and VOIP applications work perfectly. ArenaNet, focus on the issues stopping people from playing before fixing anything else. It’s only common sense.
I couldn’t even help fight Kudu or his golems in Sorrows Embrace. I was basicly just on revival duty the whole time.
Also, there was an event where you have to kill a Skritt who stole the contents of a chest. Without ranged, it was pointless to chase him. Even with the hammer and scepter combo, I couldn’t stun him long enough to do any damage. Any other class could have just ranged auto-attacked him to death, but not a Guardian.
I’m all for a longbow. I’d prefer it to be solely DPS oriented, maybe with a stun or a blind, but definitely with 3 direct, single target attacks. I like the idea of blue, flaming arrows.
I can confirm that it is Guild Wars 2 causing the issue. Any other game works fine, but when I use GW2, the internet stops in it’s tracks. It seems to be anyone using a foreign or satellite internet connection. I’m using HughesNet satellite here in the US. It’s definitely something ArenaNet has to fix on their end, whether it’s incompatability with their servers and our ISPs, or a file error, there’s nothing we can do to fix this ourselves.
I’m surprised there hasn’t been a moderator post on the issue.

Lately, I’ve had a problem with Guild Wars 2 causing my internet to come to a full stop when I’m playing. When I Alt-F4 the game, the internet instantly resumes. It’s becoming more persistent, and I can barely play more than 2 minutes or even launch the game without the Internet screeching to a stop. I’ve deleted my Local.dat file and flushed the DNS cache, and frankly, it seems to have gotten worse.
