I and my guild fight 90% on the borderland maps and have done since release.
so If the new map is to gimmicky and narrow like eotm there would be no place for fighting guild to go , ebg is a map you go to fight if the match up is boring or no other guilds to fight , so if no where to fight as we do now there is no point in playing gw2 imo, being forced to play on maps you don’t want too is not a reason to keep playing ,
So imo a good enough reason to stop playing , anet might think that’s not a loss but I buy enough gems through a year to compare to a subs game , that’s just to keep playing www , I don’t play any other mode
I just hope the devs are introducing this map because they play www know what the player base want and not some brain dead restarted no thinking map like eotm is .
If open field fights are not possible , I’ll leave , which is not an issue its 1 person , the guild I run will continue I hope , that’s only 60 people , this is also not an issue , the 10 other fighting guild on the server stop as well 600 people ,
Of course you are putting as much as you can it to this issue ,
But its not just the people with the problem this effects , its all the guilds they are in and the management of them ,
disconnects in fights of key people will determine the outcome , everyone gets fedup with the problem ,
Really its about time you put out a statement with what you are doing about this ,
Or a work around that people can without cost, if the app wtfast can nullify the issue I am sure you can implement something ,
saying you are working on it is ok for the first few weeks but we are into months now ,
Later in the year you have your biggest threat to wvw and thats Cu ,
own goals like this will just confirm people to leave , as well as the lack luster attitude you have to wvw in general ,
But like in Warhammer , I thought it was a good idea When a Object was claimed it gave Numbers attacking the structure in a given radius of it , Then updated every 30 seconds ,
would promote organisation more , give a function to guilds other than make siege ,
And also you can use it to let other guilds know, bash on this door we will come ,

Sorry Vanz , i was leading Gow last night and comunication was not that good from us , We were having issues getting our guys in and when we did we had disconects and back in the que again,
I have to say we were going to start in AM but there were so many new guild tags acting like muppets we came to Gh bl for the night so it did not start that well ,
We aslo got a bit pissed at people calling inc on keeps asking for help when there was no need and we ran half the zone to help out,
big thanks to Afterlife at west bay though you got there just in time ,
but Will do better in future on the comms in zone or log to server vent ,
I hope the server transfers will start to gell abit better or leave tbh
