Lets discuss……
It was a fun night playing new people last night. I am looking forward for the rest of the week.
Just want to say that I have learned so much from BP so far this week. It has been a true inspiration. I hope to achieve the perfection I saw tonight in my own gameplay. Keep up the great work.!

Hello all, We have a dedicated group of people excited to build this community, both in game and on the new site. The forum will still be actively updated and customized in the next few weeks, but don’t let that stop you from becoming active community members! Os and all guilds working with us are excited to have the opportunity to make this community site thrive. However, we can’t do it without the individuals and guilds that are a part of said community. So if you are reading this, don’t wait another second and register as soon as you can! If you’ve already taken the time to register, we thank you for your support. We are looking forward to seeing your posts on the forum and seeing your characters in WvW! www.shiverpeaks.com
Yes it is true new community website for Northern Shiverpeaks have arrived. Check it out and join today. http://www.shiverpeaks.com
Of course your post was at the guy transfering, I was commenting in defense of them and their decision. Reading, its ftw, try it.
Let keep things civil. In a text base conversation is it easy to misunderstand each other. We should have discussion to benefit the community and not tear it down.
You make valid points about your prospective on the game and how you play and everyone does too. We may not agree or even like each other but lets leave the killing to the WVW battleground and work here to grow a community and have fun playing a game.
Hobo! Hobo! That is an insult! Wait…….. Nevermind I like it. We need to find a nice campfire to sit around in EB…..
In all WvW/FvF/RvR games, population balance is hinged on casuals, always has been. When you are losing, casuals are off doing whatever, when you are winning casuals are out in droves. Add in a new PvE event or an all <color X> map and the shift will move harder in those respective directions.
This is pretty much what happened, imo. The turnout just wasn’t high enough at the reset because of the PvE. Frankly, the notion that “Oh, well NSP has the same event, no excuse” wasn’t the excuse. The excuse is that our population, which is different from all the other server populations, decided to PvE rather than WvW. Congrats to NSP for getting a large turnout (truly) on the reset. However, because of the huge blowout on the weekend, the casual players aren’t going to even bother and its even harder to organize since (as I’ve been told) we’re the “unofficial” Latin server. That’s just how it is. You’ll find the WvW guilds doing what they can to keep bettering themselves, but when it comes to server competition, it’s just not going to be there for this week. It’s why Terror will be leaving for more competitive play; it gets boring flipping supply camps.
So Terror is leaving because of the way this week is, or because this may indicate a lack of dedicated interest in wvwvw and future event weeks will probably be similar?
My guild is leaving because of the lack of WvW interest SF has, This isnt something out of the blue either we have have been talking about it for a few weeks now and we have concluded that to have the best possible experience in the game we need to move to a server that shares the same interest. There are alot of good players and guilds on SF if it wasn’t for the pve heavy side of the server we could have achieved great things in WvW.
If you read my post (Probably didn’t too long) you would know that a good mindset to have is a competitive one. Yes, winning is a big thing, yes it gives pve rewards, but you shouldn’t base your gameplay happiness on your server.
Take your guild, expand it, make an alliance, organize with them and make something of your server.
There is a big “Bandwagon” problem where guilds are jumping from server to server based on who is already doing well. This ruins servers and ruins the ranking system.
Take Ehmry bay for instance. The left ET in ruins and overpopulated Ehmry bay server, pushing out smaller pvp guilds that were originally on Ehmry.
It’s not a good thing.
We need more guilds staying put and working for success instead of leeching off of it.
Now, if you really don’t like the community it is fine, but sometimes it is best to just stay put and build your own success.
Toble hits it right on the nose here. With the free transfers there is not dedication to the cause. Which means no drive to improve or become better. Server hoppers just just jump when the going gets tough. Oh no! we had a bad week it must be that the server sucks and we need to move and boom everyone moves. This cause a void in the server and it take weeks to recover. Where as if people where more loyal and said “Oh no we lost this week. What can we do to get better? We need more organization?”
and such.
I am not pointing any fingers at our current match up. This is true for all servers. I believe that if we had a little more loyalty and people choose to stay on their selective servers and grew the community. Then the game as a whole would improve. Ok that is my “2 cents” and yes it is not worth that much.
In light of this weeks matchup I was looking forward to a good run with SF and ET but the event had a factor on it. Win or lose I am just here to have a good time gaming and enjoy the little time I have with good people.

Yes losing a few guilds from NSP we took a little hit this week. But that was expected has we reorganize and such…. All and all it was a great week of WvW. I had a lot of fun and I am looking forward to next week.. See you all there.

as a NSP user who doesn’t care about his server winning or losing and just wants to roam gank people in borderlands as a casual pvp affair instead of participate in the roleplaying zergy weak pvp (albeit less weak now that they’re removing their dumb orb idea):
If you see someone in my guild [DMG] pls stop and 1v1 instead of running for the nearest zerg group. You get better at your class by allowing us to kill you 1v1 instead of forcing me to Shadow Step -> Shadow Trap -> Shadow Return after shadow trap is triggered and juke your raid of 60 mindless try hards. Not that it is a bad skill, but I don’t like having shadow trap on my bar constantly in wvw, i’d rather have infiltrators signet for when I finally find someone who actually can do battle
Thank you. Until then me and my group will continue to camp you at EB jumping puzzle with log traps and other places in order to pass the time (ENDGAME GW2 = LOG TRAP)
Yeah you’re cool. If you really want a challenge in 1v1 or small group fights you and your guild would do so in SPvP, where they spec their chars for those scenarios and are assured equal gearing. Seeing as you guys are busy “trolling” EB Jumping puzzle, I’m guessing your skill is sub par and rely on rendering issue, ganking, or better small group pvp traits/skill choice to win. After all if you do get rolled it’s easier to blame it on being “zerged” than your inadequacy.
I’d trade your guild for VIP any day of the week.
Yeah, I personally design my entire characters around the large group battles for WvW. Only kittenes are in WvW soley for the 1v1s. Wrong venue.
Kittenes? Radio! You get me everytime… lol
Looking forward to the rematch! Good Luck everyone.
So true… If you own the whole map it becomes basically a PVE zone… The constant taking and retaking of keeps and such is the best action.
Very interesting… Will change the Borderlands role a bit but should remove some of the headache..
It was actually a very fun week for the match up. We had some epic fights. Even if the holiday events took alot of people. Looking forward to next week.
