Did all you people miss the post in this thread saying they are working on fixing this? Put the pitch forks away…
Also…to prove I’m not “trolling”, here’s a thread that’s currently discussing a viable sPvP build.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Bunker-Necro-and-other-SPvP-Questions
Funny how I don’t see anyone whining here being constructive over there….
This thread is about wvw/pvp , as others said Depot…stop trolling and just go away.
Like your necro, you add nothing to this thread.
I play just fine.I know the class well.None of my alts have been killed or hurt or in danger from a necro.I have zero fear of them.
In fact in wvw I target in this order : necros >engineers and rangers. Unlike mine, few rangers are all melee/pet spec. All are easy kills.I think Eng needs help also, thats another story.
back to topic:
I am all for a DOT class, but make the DOTs decent.
Also ,dont necros usually get feign death?
…..
I haven’t been in here since my second comment. I was done with the thread hours ago. How is 2 comments trolling?
Now I remember why I never come to official forums for an MMO.
I admit I don’t play PvP that much at all, actually hardly ever. So I can’t speak to that. As well, to Palaryel’s point, a Necro is traditionally a pet class so his point is valid.
I have played other classes in the game, I have been playing MMOs for almost a decade. I still stand by my point that if you are struggling to play this class, even in PvP…you may need to research and learn how to play the class better.
With the bleed caps, I think DMG is the better stat to build around. In a group, even builds not spec’d to add bleeds, will do so during regular play.
LTP. Neco condition builds, if played correctly, are one of, if not THE best, AoE classes in the game.
Assuming you’re playing as a condition necromancer, I’d suggest Rabid over Carrion.
I personally use Rabid armor for the precision and condition damage stats, coupled with a scepter of Earth to inflict as many bleeds as possible.
The extra precision is vital if you want to play as a condition necromancer, as it gives more critical chance and thus more chance to inflict the extra bleeds from the Barbed Precision trait and the Sigil of Earth on your scepter.
I strongly recommend Lopez’ Condition Necromancer guide to PvE. It’s a great guide if you want to play our necromancer effectively.

Couldn’t agree more about that guide. It helped me immensely. Of course, always fine tune to your taste, but the fundamentals he lays out and the explanations are fantastic.
Hello. I just wanted to check in and say that I had this exact error, and despite full port forwarding as suggested, this was the only fix.
Thanks for the update!
On the page that details the event a message of:
each Black Lion Chest you open has a chance to give you one of six exclusive Halloween-themed weapon skins!
which i thought meant each chest gave a skin just the weapon type was random.
Nope. That sentence would be: “each Black Lion Chest you open gives you one of six randomly chosen Halloween-themed weapon skins!”
Just sayin
Wow. So you guys are po’d and writing off this week long event because you went crazy and blew a ton of gems in the first few hours? There is still lots of content to be had, all for free. Don’t get butt-hurt. Maybe buying like 100 keys in the first day was a bad idea. :\
