Only read the first two or four replies, but thought I would give a quick hint on how to spot the " real " mesmer. I run ahead and do less of group fighting then I do solo. I used to have a problem with this too. If you pay attention to buffs ( yes I know clones can get fury and might and what not. ). But look for signet buffs and or prep buffs it’s the simplest way. Targeting the real mesmer and popping an aoe will kill off the clones and keep you on track. The thing is you have to watch that dang confusion… It’s more than annoying.
I personally think the mesmer isn’t too " OP ", I do however think the clone rate is " OP ". Meaning there should be a limit on how often a clone can be spawned. It’s not hard to keep three clones constantly up at all times during a fight.
Will a full stack of a condition be removed with Inscribed Removal and Smite Condition? Also do those two have some sort of priority order in what they remove? Or is it a random removal? Say you have 8 stacks of bleed, a poison and a chill. Would much rather have the bleeds off than the other two for sure.
My other question is: Is Purity on the same time with Signet of Resolve’s passive? Or do they alternate every five seconds?

Hey guys, I’m determined on making the hammer work for me in pvp. I was wondering if you guys could take a look at the build I’ve been using and give me some feedback.

I’m doing pretty good with it in sPvP. The one thing I’m having trouble with though is taking on more than one at a time. Especialy if I’m trying to get a kiter cornered, by the time they are stuck in a corner or against a wall one of their teamates comes and whoops me ( especialy those dang theifs lol ). Out in the open, it’s a bit diff because I try to " juggle " them with the control effects so after their dodges I’ll leap / port to them and try to manage my time on 3 and 5 skill. Still for some reason I’m having trouble with 2v1’s or multiple enemies I should say. Can any of you guys offer up some tips / advice? I’m loving the hammer, but feel a bit naked with it at the same time. Though I’m determined to stick with 2h hammer and make it work for me lol.
The idea was to keep burns, retaliatons and aegis up while managing control(s)
