its not but half the time when they say its a person talking from one of the “representitives” its just an auto message sent from a computer. hopefully we can get some real support soon Galie!!! Where art thou!!!!

im sure they will come up with somthing. but as busy as they are rite now it will probally be upwards of a week before they can give us some what of a response or possibly until thier is live support but until then with all the hacked account’s tickets going in it might be a little while till they get back to us. would be nice if a form admin could put some advice in! *caugh*caugh*:D

What happens if we lost our serial code?

i was cleaning my room last weekend and lost my serial code and my reciet with it. my acct was hacked just the past couple days on 9/4 around 10pm. and i jsut got a response fro ma member sending me to the recory account page. but i dont have the rite serial code with me. i have proof of address that can be faxed to give proof i was the owner of the account with correct address’s on a state id be ok?

no just a really kitteny support team with over a million gamers expecting so much from it. it wouldnt be that bad if GW2 wasnt expected to be the #1 mmo of 2012 they have ritefully earned thier spot and its ok let them do a kitteny job because when people are reviewing the game thier the ones that will get the kitteny rating lol. they pretty much lost the #1 spot with thier customer service. you’d think with such a highly enticipated MMO they would be more prepared but ANet is just a small dog in a big world. and have much much much more to learn if they plan on lasting in the gaming world.

View it like this GW2 is F2P therefore they have your money and sicne were not paying monthly they dont really care if you stay and wait or move on they have your 60$ ether we have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a pitty response and a poor response or buy a new copy just throwing more money into thier pocket. i guess you get what you pay for.

So Account was hacked on the 4th around 10pm and i was logged in till a new build came through and auto logged me out and my e-mail didnt exisit i even had to have a friend help me post on here because i couldnt even get access to my account because the email was changed but im pretty dissapointed in the email response of my account being changed thier wasnt even a verifcation email just an email saying

if you dont beelive me i can post a screen shot of the email. i understand that when and if i do get my account back all my items will be gone so will my money and i can hopefully hang to my character but im preparing myself for the worst. i dont mind waiting a few days for support but you guys even told us the avg. wait is 72 hours and i understand that my ticket hasnt been up for that long but people are still complaining about it so i cant even imagine when my issued will even be addressed i put in and updated my ticket to all of my knowladge with my orignal account email address my name, serial number, address, character names/ race and / levels. my display name my new email for the account to be changed to. my phone number and my full name of the account owner (me) but it jsut really really upsets me that arenanet let someone change my account email so easily without no verifcation at all. just a poor service. and to think that all the admins on here that go around changing and editing post could do somthing usefull and try and help account hacking issues or help serve tickets. but hey this post will probally get deleted for all the bashing im doing on such a kitteny (<—-probally going to gett changed to kitten cause our form admins have nothing else better to do that serve our awesome overflowing tickets) service. really thinking about a chargeback if the issue isnt fixed realatively soon wow just gave me a nice offer on a free week of play might pick that back up. since anet cant seem to pull thier heads out of their kitten.

Dont Resubmit tickets you just lose your place in line instead trying updating your current ticket it will make things go much smoother if you do.

wait another 1-4 days avg. wait time rite now is about 3-6 days aprox. dependign what ur issue is under. is it under Compromised/ban account(s)?

because ANet prioritizes compramised account/bann tickets over others and sometimes people just get lucky and get a quick reply but the ones that do are playing the game and are not on the fourms complaining trying to get some support so really we generally just hear the crowd that has been waiting rather from both sides

its not just that. thier are tons of issues that pop up, Accoutn support, tech support, peoples games now downloading rite accoutns getting hacked makign sure servers are stable trying to slowly kink out the bugs of tall the events in the game they cant just be focused on one catigory at a time they’re trying to assert everything at once in a timely. But from what i’ve seen dont expect a resposne ticket for 3-6 days more likely twords 6+ as much as i hate to say it thats about the time straint were all dealing with.

I fell it to its killing me not being able to play my warrior but i must wait liek everyone else just give it a few days jsut kick back and relax before you know it you’ll have your account back and youll be able to play all the guild wars you want remember all the other games that had that awesome 1-24hour response time was also making an extra 15$ per person a month ANet doesnt get that motivation

ok well if your not happy with the support issues then leave the game no one is holding you here and putting up in ANet’s face how much better other games were on lanuch date isnt going to help. everyone who needs support is the in the same boat as you im waiting on a hacked account as well. your not the only one but constantly complaining isnt going to get your ticket resolved anytime sooner look at the other posts this isnt the first one like this.

It’s Not just you Recently A group of hackers went out and stole information from other games including E-mails, passwords, usernames, and other information you can think of and a good chunk of accounts got hacked. ANet is gettign swamped and surprisingly they havent stopped working. Thier doing the best they can to acomidate everyone we understand its fustrating on how slow the service actually is but with the amount of support tickets being jammed in. and the game just releaseinng ANet is getting swamped just give it a few days and they will get around to you thier trying thier hardist.
