Could be a hacker, or you misused the karma exploit extensively (over 50 items bought with the exploit to resell)

I have had a response to one of my tickets saying they are investigating my account on why I am banned two days ago. Suddenly last night I tried to log in and saw this new sentence added when I log in. It use to say Permanently banned for violation of the User’s Agreement doesn’t state why, and now it says

This account has been permanently banned for a violation of the user’s agreement and/or rules of conduct.[[en.error_account_block_permanent_suspension_footer]]

What is this, and why did this just pop up, as I stated I have got a response saying that they are investigating this case. I believe the reason I was banned was because of a hacker.

According to the records, there was a violation for racist chat. If your account was hacked, then perhaps the hacker was the one who was offensive. As the agent who wrote you this afternoon said, they’re investigating.

Is there a reason why it doesn’t say offensive language when I log in lol, it just says permanent for some reason.

I have been permanently banned since August 29th for no reason at all. It states I have been permanently banned for violation of the User’s Agreement and nothing else. I have submitted tickets with answer but they all have said that they updated my account and changed my password so I am able to log in but that is not the case. Here are the support ticket numbers.

I believe the reason I got permanently banned a week ago was because I got hacked. Here is the latest response from customer support.

Yes, the password I can use is correct but I can’t log into the game because it says I am permanently banned and I state that in all of my tickets but because I put hacked in there they think I’m not banned. It’s like they aren’t even reading my entire ticket.

This is severely frustrating, I have been waiting to play this game since the GW2 cover on pcgamer when Eye of the North launched.

I have also got this response saying I only get a 72 hour suspension for offensive language, but it is permanent for no reason. Only says Permanent ban for violation of the User’s Agreement, here is that ticket.

If you’re receiving a message saying your account has been blocked due to inappropriate behavior (error: 45) the first thing you should do is look at the in-game message shown at the login screen when you attempt to login, where you will be informed if you were suspended for an offensive name or for inappropriate behavior (usually chat).

To keep Guild Wars 2 a pleasant place to be, we take action against racist names, hate speech, overtly crude language, and other unacceptable behavior. If your account is blocked for a chat offense, the account is given a three-day suspension. If it is blocked for an offensive name, you will be required to rename the character name and, in most cases, will also be given a three-day suspension.

All correct information for other accounts but incorrect for me, I have a permanent ban for violation of the User’s Agreement, but which part exactly.. I have no clue because I’ve done nothing to receive a permanent ban and apparently the customer support team doesn’t know either
