Guild Wars 2

I guess I should be more clear, the game client doesn’t crash, the whole PC reboots. When checking the system logs i just get a generic kernel power 41 task 63.

I have now also ran the guildwars 2 repair that i found on a thread similar to mine. That did not fix the problem. Still instantly crashing at character screen.

I just purchased the heart of thorns expansion and reloaded GW2 on my rig. I can log in and launch the game but once the character select screen shows up it instantly restarts my computer. I have ran a system file check, a memory diag test and swept the computer for any virus/malware. I’m at a loss since even the event log doesn’t show anything out of the ordinary. I’m scratching my head and would appreciate if someone could maybe point me in a direction to look next.

It helps streamline the game play IMO… really still though… I just wanna hear the Dev’s opinion on why it’s not something that’s being looked into… because I obviously want it and it’s easy to not look at the other side of things when you are so focused on what you want to happen.

I believe a LFG interface to help players find other players looking to complete any given dungeon on any given setting is a vital improvement to GW2 game play

I know this is a sensitive topic, i have brought it up in map chat and guild chat several times… it’s always almost 50/50 split. Some of the purest say, it’s the social aspect of the game to reach out and engage other players to complete these dungeons. The other half says they wish they could enter into a que to find other players while they continue to work on various other aspects of the game.

THIS IS NOT A DEMAND POST, I am posting this to open it up on the forums and also in hopes that the GW team can explain their opinion on this. I simply am curious to see even more players chime in on this and even more curious to see what the dev team thinks.

My 2 cents are simply this… I’m in a band, when i’m on the bus I have time to play… that could be 12pm or 3am who knows… I usually have 1-3 hours to devote to playing and if it takes me 45 mins to put a group together for a hour instance I don’t always get to finish the content. Some of the dungeons are much longer than a hour at that. My needs surely don’t constitute a game change, but i feel i’m not the only person out there who enjoys dungeon gameplay and would like to be able to log in and expedite getting into the action.
