I have GW2 running on 4 machines in the house… I do only one update on one machine and then copy the EXE and DAT files to the other 3 across the network. Works.

If you have a second machine, try doing the install on it and then copying.

The GW2 game runs on three files, the EXE, a DAT and a TMP… Does the program access any or all of those files frequently enough to take advantage of moving it to my Solid State Hard Drive?

I’ve been looking in Gaming stores and all over the web only to discover how little there is out there. We’ve already bought the mouse pads and have run into a brick wall after that.
Have a look at World of Warcraft and Minecraft and grab a few ideas.
Honestly, if there was coffee mugs or thermoses, I’d already have bought them in the last 5 minutes.

Zerg horde Champion battle conflict

There has been some conflicts with people who genuinely challenge themselves to defeat Champions and the Zerg hordes which attack them en-masse (requiring little or no skill). It has been suggested that these Zergs are responsible for some more serious players leaving the game.

I have the PERFECT solution and everyone is happy!

Create a new feature…. be it an Elite Skill or whatever suits the programmers… where a player arrives at a Champion battle and can elect to switch to a “Solo” mode, much like the Personal Story mode, where he (and optionally, his party), battle the Champion apart from the Zerg horde.
Call it “Wanna Step Outside?” LOL

How about something a little more meaningful than “me too”…

I have three accounts and three machines in the house. All three started having this problem in the last 48 hours.
Error 7:11:3:191:101

I have replaced my router to no avail.
I have flushed my DNS without change.
I have tried running the program as administrator or in XP compatibility. No joy.
I have removed Symantec Endpoint Protection (ver 11)… No change.
I have shut off my firewall without results.
I have run ping /t tests on my secondary monitors while it crashes and have seen no internet pauses during the problem period. (picture attached)
I have scanned for Malware with MalwareBytes and found nothing.

My machines are all Windows 7. One is 32 bit, two are 64 bit.
Video cards are NVidea Geforce 660

Obviously, this is not a local problem! Three machines don’t fail simultaneously unless there’s an outside issue and I have shown that my internet connection has flowed uninterruptedly during failure.

I have three accounts and three different machines in the house. All three machines failed to the same 7:11:3:191:!01 error and are stuck in the same endless cycle… When you have logged in and said PLAY, it will draw the splash screen for the particular territory and then crash out to the error message without even getting to game play. Once acknowledged, it goes back to the login screen.

Obviously, the problem lies outside of my machines. My first instinct was my router malfunctioning.
I upgraded the firmware… no result
I replaced the router with my backup unit… no result
I removed Symantec Endpoint Protection ver 11 from all machines… no result
I disabled firewalls (insane but had to test)… no result
I ran ping 174.137.125.49 /t on my secondary monitors while crashing without the response ever changing from around 25ms. There was NO pause in internet connections.

What’s up????

I’ve got three machines in the house running GW2 and three separate accounts. All of them are doing the same thing… crashing within seconds of starting. Most of the time it doesn’t even get loaded completely but crashes with the message;

The game client lost its connection to the server.
Please wait a few minutes before restarting the
client and trying again. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)

…and then goes back to the Login screen when you acknowledge it

At first I thought my internet connection was the issue and tested my connection. I ran a ping /t and watched a clean no-hiccup screen on my second monitor while it crashed.
I even went so far as to replace my router with a backup unit to no avail.

What’s up? Surely, with three machines getting the symptom at the same time, there must be an external factor at work?!
