Well, for taking camps it is possible to run turrets, sometimes I try this just for fun. For killing roamers and zerglings – big NO. To high cooldowns, stationary, ppl will just run away. Turrets in roaming have place only as Supply Crate elite or Rifle Turret in SD build. You can use one turret, but having 1-2 kits is mandatory.

Engineer if builded properly can outdamage warrior in same stats about 10-15%
aa on bombkit is strongest aa for engi and one of strongest in entire game. With decent team it is just one of best.
warrior is best for doing pugs, when you don’t have good team
now, you will take trait moddified ammo in firearms taking few points from tools – still it is one of best build for dungs

During weekend I had chance to beta test Wildstar (stress test) and I chose engineer.
One thing that I liked about it it was: bots – mobile turrets, finaly something focused on turret gameplay, however they were not necesairy but it was very nice to have them as dmg boosters and interrupters. My choice was of course bruiser bot and artillery bot. After ending of the test I wanted to implement something similar on my engineer (I know, our turrets are not moving and I wish not any dev make them move to give us another dumb zoobuild).
Ok enough of “why”. I wanted to make something somewhat similar: tanky but heavy hitting, equiped with magnetic shield, 2 hand cannon, 2 turrets and something to enhance area denial and boost dmg output.
It is fun build, I tried to roam with this on 3w – clears camps even nicely fast and can pin down for long time. I know however major flaws – lack of good cond removal, it’s somewhat not mobile for attacking, and if someone tries to kill turrets we have to wait very long before they’re back. And all we know turret bugs, but maybe in distant future we can hope for better and maybe this can become viable. I have to try this on sPvP but in time I’ll wait for your criticism and your thoughts

Acc packed turrets – heal and knock and with recharge on 25 % hp – heal often and knock often
Transmutate – moar glorified condi removal
For me PBR is less reliable than FT(no animation for push, blind on enemies) but its changeable – pick your favourite
lol awesome vids, full buffed + stacks + guard buffs vs unbuffed, bads and upscaled, supply dropp in every fight and on top of that its just a collection of wins. Your video makes me really sad and is a proof of statement.
If someone is stupid enough to fight without preparation – and 3w is pure war – then it is only his fault. Full stacks? Guard buffs? Food? – this is PREPARATION for roaming, if u can prepare – why not? People underleveled often engage first because they think they’re awesome and have backup(even 1 person of 80 lvl). Roaming of Mask, shows, that they’re wrong. If they could be smart enough, they would escape. 3w is survival – if u can’t pick up a fight – run, if u can’t run – die. For me this is simple – if thief can catch me off guard – it’s my fault, I should run or die, if I am prepared, why not pick up a fight and try to win. They were not prepared – only their fault.

I must say, this build is very fine bunker/support control mix for me, so much beautiful disables, so much “interrupted”, so much annoying for enemies in tournaments, number of interrupts can give you time for reinforcements :P in 1v1 it can be nightmare for enemy if he is not wise enough to avoid turrets (hello thieves & warriors!). As nakoda said: we must take turrets again :P
I played a lot of tPvP with this build and I can give it Turret Seal of Approval
Now we must wait for unbugging and making turrets a bit more viable(we all know what we want) and reign of turrets in pvp will be normal thing:)

I want to share with you my very own PvP build which I call: “Gadgetstorm Engineer”
Why gadgetstorm? “LOL WUT engi’s gadgets? Who da hell use dat thing!”
I wanted create a build full of fun, sparkles and of course not so easy to kill
I made my succesful way on tPvP and sPvP on this build – I’m almost always first or second in team score.

Let me explain some choices I made:
1) Weapons – of course famous duo – pistol/shield. Why? Maybe because I love them, maybe because I like throwing shield straight in the face of enemy, but main reason for this weapons is control(pistol – blind, shield – push, daze) and lowering your enemy’s possible chances to kill you
Of course it can do some serious damage, but it is not so important.
2) Med Kit – for permaswiftness with Speedy Kits trait and for for condition removal + more heal
3) Personal Battering Ram – first of my gadgets – cooldown is maybe too long but chance to push enemy off or spell/finishers interrupting is for me kinda cool. Toolbelt skill – fine damage and cripple, so if he tries to run – hit with toolbelt skill and then Poison Dart Volley in his back
4) Rocket Boots – nice stunbreaker but we should use it wisely, only when we know that we might escape, damage and finisher is not bad after all, but the true honey is toolbelt Rocket Kick – nice burn, low cooldown and nice synergy with storm part of build
5) Utility Googles – another stunbreaker – I use it when RB are on CD or I need to get up fast and “run when the pepper grows”
Fine toolbelt skill Analyze – 10% more damage on not so big cooldown
6) Supply Crate – of course – other elite’s are not as good
Time to get to part Storm in my build – as you can see all toolbelt skills are on relatively short cooldown, so why not to use it for our advantage – Static Discharge is awesome
and for now it is very good damage choice and can wreak havoc in battle.
My runes are Melandru’s – more armor is always welcome and reduced time on conditions. Sigils – of fire – for some attack boost for pistol #1, shield – of accuracy – more crit – more dmg, MOAR LIGHT from storm and fire!
My choice of stats is Soldier’s Amulet with Rampager’s Jewel – awesome number for build is 22222 – your health
Soldier will give you much needed power to hit with static discharge and other skills, armor and health; rampager – more crit and some condition dmg for our pistol
Trait choice:
Firearms – More swiftness because of crit and reduced cooldown for pistol skills
Inventions – Cloaking device – can save your tail sometimes and reduced cd for shield and little more toughness
Alchemy – Protection injection – if we’re disabled why not to have dmg reduction
(why not elixir S? – now it is not as good as it was – when u die because of conditions and it will trigger you will be dead like nothing happened because we can’t heal now – so for me little waste of potential)
Tools – more speed for roaming on the battlefield and of course – STATIC DISCHARGE – OUR STORM in Gadgetstorm!
That’s the end my engi friends. I will await your opinion: negative or positive, but I hope you will like my Gadgetstorm Engineer

Many of us has been disconnected in the final phase. I think after all this time spent on slaying Ancient Karka, we should get some rewards. I had DC 3 times – after first I was on my overflow so ok, after second DC I was on overflow when Karka was about to die so I helped finish that scumbag, but “le wild DC” happend and when I reloged – I was on overflow with already dead Karka, with of course no reward. As a proof of my participation in event I uploaded a screenshot, which can be seen below.
Please tell me dear ANet: will you left us dissappointed? Will you left us full of rage because we “wasted” 2-3 hours to get nothing?
