1 Player Dungeons?

So I used to play a lot with parties and with my guild in GW1. Yet, now that I am older, I have less time to play videogames. Every few days I’ll have the chance to log on really. This really makes it difficult to find good, non-pug groups. So in the end I spend most of my time in PvE, with only rare excursions into dungeons or PvP.

Now of course this is a MMO, so I am glad to see expansion into raids and guild events, and I really enjoy how interactive the new maps have become. I was just pondering the existence of 1 player dungeons. Similar to jumping puzzles, just more combat oriented. With bosses and so on, paths to choose from… Maybe even more prestigious rewards than jumping puzzles might warrant.

Just thought I throw that out there. You never know… Solo is entirely different build and execution wise, compared to a full party. Might pose interesting challenges.

Birthday Gifts

I’ve played GW2 since the start and hence received a number of Bday gifts. I have 8 character slots in use; One for each profession. Six of them are lvl80, the other two not far from it.
That being said I have received 8 miniature Queen Jennah, and propably close to 16 Experience scrolls to get a character to lvl20, most of which I simply destroyed for obvious reasons.
Now it feels a bit wrong to have a complaint about something I have received for free, but I had to remember back to GW1 where you had the opportunity to receive one of 20 or so minis, which added a certain excitement to it. And possibly the choice of Experience scroll or tome of knowledge for people who have used up all their character slots already.
Again, I feel bad complaining, but it was just a thought I had opening the last present, and I don’t think it would be a bad thing to change… especially because most of the miniatures are kind of hard to obtain after they are out of the gemstore.
