As for the megaserver thing, “This new system takes your party, guild, language, home world, and other factors into account to match you to a version of the map you’re entering.” I’m guessing it takes my party members into account, allowing us to see each other, right?

When I right-click his avatar, there isn’t an option to join in his map.

I texted him and asked if his status was maybe set to invisible. Maybe that’s it. We’ll see.

I also told him to see if his game needs updating/patching, too. That could be it.

I’m trying to play GW2 with my brother, and I don’t see his character in the game, even though we’re supposedly standing right next to each other. His character portrait is blacked out, too. We’re both on the same server, both on the Mount Maelstrom map, we both have completely updated the game, we both own Heart of Thorns, and there’s no option to click his face to “Join in Mount Maelstrom” or whatever.

What am I not thinking of? Why can’t we see each other?

Harlan Cog, here. I’m not so much into the grenades/bombs thing. I’ve stuck with firearms and alchemy since launch and I’ve been fine.

Tried it once more with 32 bit and it seems to be downloading now. Whew!

Is it just me, or is there only like 1 male mesmer for every 100000 female mesmers?

That’s a good build. Would it be viable in dungeons, too?

I’m not thrilled with HoT, either. Orr is a horrible place and I will never get world explorer on any of my other characters because I refuse to go back there. SW is just as bad. HoT is basically the same feel for me. I stand in town staring at my character wondering what to do, and then I log out and play something else. I need more direction! Sadly, that $50 I spent on this expansion was was killed GW2 for me.

I like dungeons. They’re fun, they really encourage teamwork, and I’m a collector so I enjoy buying all the gear with dungeon tokens. I’ve noticed that, lately, there are no experienced 80s doing dungeons anymore, and so I always get stuck with low level characters with <500 achievement points who don’t know what they’re doing, and the margin of error is so huge that it becomes a never-ending wipe-fest. I’d like to see more attention given to dungeons, please!

I, too, am disappointed that I cannot use my racial abilities as revenant. I like my racials! I do not understand a reason why they are not available.

Well, it’s March now and I’m still at 16/17 POI for this place. Anybody find the last one yet?

I know it’s super popular in fractals and dungeons to go balls-to-the-wall with DPS, but isn’t there any value to having some personal survival traits, for people like me who kinda suck of dodging? I’m wearing full zerker gear with ruby orbs (too poor for scholars), and zerker weapons.

For survival, I’m considering AH coupled with Zealous Blade, with a Sigil of Blood on my weapon and some omnomberry pies..

Wow, I did not even notice that I could track my hints completed. Now I just need a list of all the dungeon paths I’ve completed!

I have a couple 80s now and I myself am worried that I’ve run out of stuff to do in this game. I’ve done all the dungeons, I’ve gotten to lvl 20 in fractals (good enough for me), I’ve explored the world. I’m not much of a PvPer in any of the MMOs I’ve played, so that’s not really an option for me. I’m not sure what I’m looking for.

I did like how they added whole new areas to the GW1 expansions, new skills.. Stuff like that I could look forward to!

Will anet ever fix that, where if the person initiating the dungeon leaves, everyone gets kicked? It’s dumb. What if they get disconnected or rage quit or something? That screws everyone over! In WoW, if the leader leaves, leadership transfers to someone else so the others can continue playing. Why should 4 people be punished because 1 person leaves?

I once deleted a holiday item I needed for an achievement in WoW. They restored it for me. Ain’t they nice!

Is it possible to get more fused tickets by doing the dungeon again on a different character? or is it a one-time account thing? I got the ticket once and deleted it, and I’d like to know how to get another..
