Just in case anyone else stumbles upon this having the same issue: another GM got back to me, and says " wanted to let you know that we are currently aware of a bug relating to this and we are looking into this further. We do not have an ETA on when a fix will be fixed but please be patient as we work on it. "

Going to just swap roles with someone next week and ‘do it again’.

So I’ve carefully done this fight for two weeks as a hands kiter, and both weeks, I have not received credit for killing Deimos in regards to getting the Legendary Armor Collection Achievement. I have:

- Survived the entire fight. This includes NOT going down.
- Applied the heart beforehand.
- Had the heart’s buff on the entire fight, and even still afterwards.
- Did not D/C or otherwise have any gap during the fight.
- Received the chest at the end of the encounter and could loot the trophy chest thing.

Situation:
- I play rev heal/tank kiter, so the first time I never bothered touching the boss.
- The second time I made sure to tag Deimos both when he landed on the platform, and at 1% just in case.
- I have not yet ‘gone below’ except for the 10% mark.
- I have not tagged the ‘Dark Saul’ add.

I have the rest of the hearts, so I am well familiar with how the Crystalline Heart works. I have filed a support ticket both times, and honestly, the response was so bad, it doesn’t even appear that they read what I wrote. (See attached file).

I realize you might be replying to the other guy who said he went down but, not the real problem here.

I too have this issue, and I am as well, a hands kiter. I play my rev.

Last week when I did not get it, I submitted a ticket, and after not reading that I had 1) had the heart activated before the fight, buff active the whole time, and 2) that I had survived, basically told me ‘too bad so sad do it again’.

So this week I do it again. This time I tag Deimos at both the start when he hits the platform, and at 1% right before he died. Should be enough right? NOPE. No credit. Once again, Buff active the whole fight, and did not go down or die.

So I submit another ticket. This one will be understood right? Nope same guy. Check this out:

So my advice for anyone else stumbling on this with the same issue: Swap roles off of kiter if you need your heart.

I also just encountered. Worse, I also am unable to send items via mail, and that includes using the return to sender option. I get “Processing previous mail” and “Mail is not available at this time” respectively.

However, it is a PITA for all but the most organized. Actually still is even for them, but hey.

Edit: Yes, while reflects do not work, certain projectile destuctions do (aka wardens/obflesh)

I just did yet another Scarlet and did not get “No More Tricks, Scarlet”. I zoned in and did not get hit by a beam. I kept my combat log up at all times to make sure I incurred no damage. I place no turrets. I only damaged Prime at the very start, and then I proceeded to heal with my elixir gun, and ONLY heal/res. Combat log showed no damage from laser or scorches, but I did not get the achievement. Is there a damage requirement you must attain? A guide says you musn’t get downed -at all- or you’ll lose the chance. Which seems weird, and is not mentioned on the achievements. Especially since UV Blast nukes you.

Forgive me if I don’t believe you when you say they are reliably unlockable, as this is truly frustrating.

Edit: I even swapped to my necro, turned her into a healer, used no pets, watched combat log and used protection wells to prevent death/downing on UV blast and still: no achievement. Okay. -_-

By the way, are you also checking up on the potential issue with Scarlet’s Kiss and Scarlet’s Rainbow where people claim that they do not drop anymore?

Just overnight the prices on those shot up from 30-50g to 80-130g! Usually prices drop during an event and only start to rise after the event. So there seems to be something wierd going on.

Last scarlet I did an hour ago dropped the Rainbow, so… just rumour, I’d think. They… they put it on a warrior ;_; ~engie tears~

• This achievement is also a tricky one, I would recommend you disable your auto attack so that you are precisely controlling when you hit the holograms. Necros, Rangers, Mesmers; watch your minions, pets, clones, and phantasms, their damage counts against you if you are not attuned. Engineers, your turrets fall under that category as well. For all professions, I would recommend crafting your build based solely on damage your character does and not use any summons or sources of outside damage. Again, attention is critical, always be aware of your current attunement and the attunement of the hologram you are fighting.

Is it even possible for a mesmer to do this? I mean basically no illusions can be out whatsoever during the entire fight.

Has any mesmer done this? (If so you should get a special medal or something)

As a result of this level of difficulty to get scarlet’s achievements, it encourages people to just afk at the front and back where they won’t get hit with anything. When achievements encourage you to not take part its.. really.. counter-intuitive.
