Guild Wars 2

I have seen these threads a lot on reddit and it has put me off fractals.

I am only on level 20 and have been casually running them in order to get fractal weapons. But after veining your drop research I feel there is no point at all!

Dev update and fix please!

I have always thought of fractals as 3 mini dungeons, but dredge seems to take longer than most paths in normal dungeons (not to mention it being more difficult)

As someone who hasn’t spent a huge amount of time in fractals (lvl 11) I an still unsure how you are actually meant to do the button puzzle…

The patch notes said they fixed a bug where the loading screens would end too soon, I know the problem isn’t the same, but is it any better since the patch?

I have been having these exact problems. It feels like every loading screen has a 50% chance to just get stuck. I have been told that my characters have appeared in the world and I can hear music playing.

Lets see what I have tried…

-repair
-clinetport80
Disabling firewalls
Run as administrator
Run in Compatibility mode
Updating drivers
Disabling start up programs (in msconfig)
Deleting the guild wars 2 cache
Reinstalling the whole game
Checking GW2 ports are opened / DMZ

None of these have worked
If you can think of anything else I can try please let me know
Would be great if a dev could comment on this issue

Same problem, keeps getting stuck on loading screens, people say they can see my character in the game though, it is like the loading screen is stuck there, stopping us from playing. I can also hear sounds

Honestly, the only thing I REALLY want them to implement is guild wide mail. This would make communication of events and news so much easier. I am pretty shocked it wasn’t implemented before release!

I guess it isn’t just Dell laptops then!

Clearing Caches
Running the repair
Reinstalling the game
Checking ports are opened
Updating drivers
Disabling firewalls

No luck! If you can think of something we have missed, please let me know

Is this a Dell problem?

If you post please include your computer specs, I just ask because 3 people have been using Dell laptops.

Something from Anet would be nice, as my girlfriend can’t even play at the moment.

What is your ping in this game? I don’t know what is acceptable or not

I have only recently been experiencing these massive lag spikes, they have been mainly happening in WvW so I simply blamed the servers not being able to handle blob warfare

However now I am doing more spvp and pve they are happening more and more!
Checking through windows my ping with GW2 is always 250+

As you can see below in my speed test with the hub in Germany, my connection speed and general ping are excellent, so why am I suffering so much in GW2? Is there anything I can do about it?

I just had this bug, i managed to fix it by casting “symbol of Swiftness” which was a ground targeting skill

No idea what caused it though

Just hear to add my voice, we would love to be able to toggle this feature, why make the community suffer so a hand full of people spectating can have an easier ride?
