We are a small, but active guild on Crystal Desert.

At the moment, we mostly focus on PvE content (but plan to expand into PvX as member interest increases). We are a very friendly, laid-back group and often party up and go through content as a group(s). We don’t take things too seriously, but we do put a lot of effort into the game. Essentially, we work together as a team to accomplish goals and have a lot of fun doing it.

We are also very newbie (or new player) friendly. We have no minimum requirement for character/player level/experience. We have several experienced players who are more than happy to help new players learn the ins-and-outs of the game.

Our only requirements are that our members are 18 years or older and aren’t jerks.

At the moment we are very small, but very active and growing. We are a good mix of laid-back, fun, and game-focused. (meaning, we put a lot of effort into the game, but don’t take things too seriously and we have fun while we play – it isn’t a job to any of us either.)

We are on Monday through Friday evenings ET and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.

We like to party up and play together (mostly PvE at the moment). We just started doing FoTM as a group and plan to do more things like dungeons, etc. Although we are currently PvE focused, we would like to start doing WvWvW and sPvP.

I thought I’d add our’s (Thundershrimp Are Go [TAG]) to the list here… We are a small, but active PvE guild (with plans to do some PvX in the future) on Crystal Desert.

We are very newbie friendly, so character level / player experience is no problem at all. We do have some fairly experienced players who would be happy to help you out.

We are a fairly casual guild. Our members do play a lot and put a lot of effort into the game, but we’re also friendly, laid-back, and we like to have fun. If you don’t mind a little swearing on Mumble and some snarky humor, you might want to check us out.

(we do want our members on Crystal Desert, but we have a (somewhat flexible) 60 day rule that allows someone to join the guild for up to (aprox.) 60 days so he/she has time to decide whether or not to transfer – we understand it’s not exactly cheap to transfer. So there’s no pressure to transfer servers right away.)

About Thundershrimp Are Go [TAG]

We are a small, newly-formed PvE guild on Crystal Desert (with plans to expand into PvX). We are friendly, laid-back, and fun—and we’re accepting new members.

Currently, our focus is PvE. However, (depending on future member interest) we would like to take our antics as a guild into sPvP and/or WvWvW.

What we do (and what we plan to do)

We like to party up and partake in both impromptu and scheduled in-game shenanigans, including farming, dungeons, and FoTM.

Although we don’t take things too seriously, we are very active, put a lot of effort into the game, are focused when it’s important, and support our fellow guildies—we just have fun doing it.

We are Real Life Friendly – We understand that real-life happens and may require a guild member’s immediate attention—even at the most inopportune times. We’re OK with this. Although we take team support seriously, real-life trumps game-play every time.

Guild members will not be shunned, guilted, scorned, or otherwise penalized for sudden and unexpected game-play interruptions due to real-life emergencies such as spouse/child/pet agro, extended emergency bio-breaks, combustible family heirloom issues, or the like.

We are Newbie Friendly – We welcome players of all experience/character levels. We will always do what we can to help new players learn the ins and outs of the game.

We are Diversity Friendly – We welcome players of all walks of life (except sociopaths, racists, misogynists, anti-LGBT, and the like).

• Your home server must be Crystal Desert (We do accept players from other servers who are willing to transfer to Crystal Desert..)

Game Experience & Character Level

We accept players of all levels. Whether you are an experienced player or just bought the game yesterday…well, we don’t care. We’re more interested in recruiting members who are friendly and fun to play with (or socially awkward, but good people). At the end of the day, characters level and players gain experience, but a crappy personality is hard to shake.

Sense of Humor

It helps if you have one (or at least can tolerate humor). We play hard(ish), but like to have a good time while we’re doing it.

Timezone(s)

Most of our members are in the Eastern/Central NA time-zones (-4/-5 UTC/GMT). However, we are also looking for members in the +10 UTC/GMT timezone (or whose timezone is within a few hours of, or whose schedule is compatible with, the +10 UTC/GMT timezone).

A Tolerance for Potty Mouth

Although our TeamSpeak chats are hardly a constant barrage of f-bombs, we do get colorful with our langue at times. On a scale of June Cleaver to Drunken Sailor we’re around Disgruntled Dock Worker.

I’m looking to join a guild on Anvil Rock that’s a good match for me (I’d prefer not to transfer servers). I have a level 80 necro and a level 28 warrior. I’m looking for a friendly and helpful guild. Basically, players who are fun to play with and don’t take the game too seriously (that is to the extent it becomes more work than fun).

As far as play style goes, I like to be a helpful player and prefer to play with people who are also helpful. …as skritt are attracted to shinies, I am to downed players… When the situation calls for it I also try to be tactical, within reason. I won’t spend too much time working out a plan, but will try to approach a challenge in a smarter way than just storming in. Although, when there isn’t a chance for survival (atleast when playing solo), I will sometimes just Leroy Jenkins it and see how long I can last… so I guess I have heart

At the moment I’m just doing PvE (mostly because I don’t know enough people who play GW2), but I’d like to start doing Dungeons, some WvW, and maybe some PvP. So I’m looking for an active guild with members I can party up with (playing solo gets so boring and is limited).

Also, I prefer voice chat and would be more than happy to use whatever chat client the guild is using.
